Beautiful place!!

Home was lovely. Had AC issues first night but owner addressed quickly. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful view of the ocean from the deck. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Getaway Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for Mardi Gras weekend! The house is adorable and fit was the perfect size for us and our two kids. The master bed is very comfortable and the ocean views from the house can’t be beat!! Lots of memories made!

Great Little Beach House!

We stayed for 2 nights taking our toddler grandkids to the beach. Property was as advertised. Communication with host was EXCELLENT. Check-in/checkout was seamless. Property was clean & exactly what we needed. Plenty of space & VERY close to beach. Will definitely check availability next trip! Thank you!

2nd time here and we love this place

This is the 2nd year my family has stayed at the house. It is the prefect size for my family of 4. Great views and easy access to the beach. However, I would say the outdoor sitting area is missing furniture on the lower level and also the dryer does not work. Overall, however the stay was good!

Sweet and Shaky

Overall the apartment (up on 12 foot beams, like every place on the island) fully met our needs. It was a fun beach place to stay on the Bolivar Peninsula, close to High Island and other great birding spots. Only issue was the shaking of the structure caused by the 25 knot winds that blew for our entire 3 night stay. Probably would be fixable by cross-bracing.

Even Better in Person!

Lovely space with all you need and then some, including four bunks. You can see and hear the ocean and walk to it within five minutes. And within just a 10 minute drive (west) you'll reach nicer (but busier) beaches. When you buy the beach access pass (for your car to be parked on the beach), it will last a year and as of 3/24 costs $10. Happy Travels!

Perfect location, nice clean house

Super close to the beach, host communicated all necessary and helpful info, house was clean and in good order. Beaches were not crowded and area was nice. We all had an absolutely great time and would definitely return. Our only issues had nothing to do with the property, but for those who don't know this Texas area, we were definitely caught off guard by the local mosquitos! If you're prone to bites, I recommend lots of bug spray for the Bolivar Peninsula!

The location is perfect! It is so close to the beach. The space is just right for a small fam. They had everything you can possibly need to cook or clean. We didn't use the grill but they had a small thing that looked like a grill outside. The only thing I would suggest is a private wall to Rinse the sand from our body/swimsuit before going upstairs to the house. Another thing it's not a complaint, but it was our first time at a Beach house and you can feel every move. The deck's view was priceless. We enjoyed our morning coffee out there. We will definitely return!
