    Popular three bedroom with beachfront view! You’ll love relaxing at this vacation home located in the heart of Crystal Beach. The spacious living/dining area has a large flat screen HDTV for movie night or just kick back on the comfortable furnishings and take in the beautiful Gulf views. The large kitchen has plenty of cooking and prep space so it’s easy to prepare plenty of fresh seafood for your family and friends. With a dining table and extra seating at the bar everyone can enjoy meals together. There is an amazing deck that is perfect for late-night escapes or for enjoying your morning coffee. This house is a great place to relax with your friends and family, but you’ll probably want to spend most of your time on the beach since it’s only steps away!

    Please note, Hurricane Ike forever changed the footprint of Bolivar Peninsula, therefore some homes listed as beachfront may have a lot and/or street in front of it. This is the result of the uncertainty following the storm where some property owners elected to participate in the government buy out of lots that fell in what later would be considered within the vegetation line established by the State of Texas and subsequently included as part of the public beach. Not all property owners participated. Those homes where the property in front of it are part of the buyout are considered beachfront even though to the east or west of it there may be a home closer to the beach.

They were right in front of the beach house and the noise and parking were annoying. And this was not shown in any of the photos we looked at before renting the house.

It’s a small 3 bedroom 2 bath with everything you need to relax and have a great time! The kitchen was fully stocked! It has a Weber grill for you to use. Washer/Dryer! The views from the deck were wonderful! Bring mosquito spray because some nights you couldn’t sit on the porch or walk the beach there was so many it was unbearable! That was the only negative! Definitely will be back!

Anything we needed to use for cooking was there. They even had a couple of corkscrews for wine bottles. The house was very clean and confortable, and since we were actually there for 7 days, we used the washer and dryer, which was a huge help. The house is close enough to the water to hear and see the surf, without being right down on the beach where most of the traffic and noise was, especially on the weekend. We sat on the deck quite a bit. We will be back!

The location was beach front with a wide porch, outdoor furniture, and great view of the ocean! The cabin was neat, clean, and comfortable! The kitchen was fully furnished with plates, glasses, and utensils! Downstairs had an outdoor shower, a bathroom and a barbecue grill. We have stayed at Crystal Beach in other cabins numerous times but this was our best vacation and we plan on coming back to Parrot Head next year! I recommend it!

Fireworks were amazing, but extremely close & very very loud!! There is a major eye sore in front of the house. It is like public parking/swamp with trash. Took away from the view for sure!
