We have stayed here before and it was as a great as we remembered. It was perfect for our weekend getaway with friends. It is spotless, has perfect views, in a great location being within blocks of bars and great restuarants, and the kitchen was stocked with anything you will need.

This is an excellent location right on the river and has everything needed including full kitchen, very clean coffee pot with coffee available, bath stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. Beds were very comfortable. It was very clean and check in/out easy with great communication! Highly recommend!

Golf Weekend

Our stay was perfect! Cute little town with very friendly people everywhere we went including the golf course, bar we ate at, and the few stores we stopped in. The deck of the apartment was fantastic over looking the river! We saw so many ducks, geese, and other wild life. Building and neighborhood were quiet. Short drive to the John Deere Classic. Would love to visit again.

A wonderful visit with Old Man River

A beautiful surrounding with walking and biking opportunities. Like-new and squeaky clean rooms and common areas. Superb view of the Mississippi. Some good restaurants within a couple of blocks. Nice bar on ground floor. Our first visit to Blue Suede Suites but Definitely not our last.

Getaway road trip

This place was perfect to get away from the big city. Everyone in Port Byron was welcoming. And the restaurants around there are all privately owned, a lot of Great places to eat. Sitting on the balcony watching the Mississippi river roll by was pretty relaxing also

Beautiful Accommodations & View!

Highly recommend! Stayed the weekend for a girls getaway birthday celebration. Steve, the host, was prompt with responding to questions. The accommodations are relatively new and very nice! Beautiful river views and above the cocktail bar that had a fun performer on Friday evening. We met several local people who were very friendly - a great small community! We are planning on coming back when warmer weather comes to take advantage of the deck.

Exactly what we hoped for.

Blue suede was wonderful. You might think that staying above a working bar would be noisy, but it was actually quite pleasant. The view of the river was outstanding and we enjoyed long hours sitting on the deck watching the sunset and the barges go by. Everything was clean and tidy and communication with our host was easy and quick. If I head up to the LeClaire Iowa region again, I’ll stay here again.

Great Views, Cool Place.

You see the photos, but we still had the "Wow" reaction when we walked in. The floor to ceiling window vies of the Mississippi River were very cool. I was surprise how beautiful the river was. I had an old image of the river around St. Louis as a dark, muddy, rocks on shore, but this are looks more like a beautiful lake than a river. The downstairs lounge was fun, went down for a drink and a conversation on Friday. Total transparency, the Rock Band playing three sets on Saturday night was a little rough. Especially the drum set. But we powered through!

Gorgeous!

What a perfect 4 days in Port Byron! This was our second time staying with Steve and Judi. Blue Suede Suites North was spacious, clean, comfy, warm and had everything we needed. Kitchen was well-equipped, the deck has seating for 4, quiet conversations, and amazing sunsets! The views are magnificent! Steve and Judi responded quickly to check-in info. Blue Suede was open at 3:00 for drinks and coffees, but, otherwise, the town was quiet.We chose dinner at Jimmie Lee's, and it looked like a few of the smaller local places were also open. Tugger's was NOT open during our stay. We spent a day in Galena and a day in LeClaire. The condo was a great jumping-off place! Not as much fall foliage as we hoped, but still a beautiful location. We'll be back next year!!

Absolutely perfect getaway

We did not realize when i made the initial booking that it is on the second story of a upper scale lounge/cocktail bar and that there was live music on Friday's and Saturdays. We didn't check in till 8pm on Friday, and this place was hopping. One of the best live bands we have ever heard playing in the corner inside, couples dancing, people relaxing out on the patio by the firepit tables. This stay was a weekend getaway for us for our 23rd anniversary, so kids stayed home. Met 2 wonderful couples out on the patio and just hung out talking like old friends. Once one couple left the other couple asked us how long we had known the leaving couple, to which we responded "we just met them the same as you guys". The upscale coffee/cocktails with the Elvis theme keeps the rif raf away while providing a very classy place to relax in you want. Our stay upstairs was great. Clean linens, clean furniture, comfortable bathroom, nice views of the mighty Mississippi. For a nearly 90° weekend it was pleasantly quiet on the river. Enjoyed coffee on the deck and soaking in the fresh air. Only twice did we have a train go by and it was during the day so it didn't interrupt sleep. The couple we sat at the fire table gave us a local recommendation for an anniversary meal and it by far is in the top 5 dining experiences we've ever had. In Davenport is a restaurant called the Monarch. A 6oz. filet topped with carb was one of the best we've ever had. We only live 2hrs away and will be back
