"The cottage itself was lovely. A really nice chilled week, however the property just required a bit of TLC, it is just looking a bit tired and rough in some areas and the cleanliness was average to say the least. Some plates had been put away dirty and there was cobwebs in several of the rooms. The location was pretty good and it was only 30 minutes in to Glasgow and Ayr is nearby. Overall I would give a 7/10."

"No check-in details given, had to contact Hoseasons twice on the afternoon of arrival to get details, to say the cabin is quieky is an understatement, if you like dark & dinghy then thats ok, the kitchen is basic and smells of old fat, beds & mattress have seen better days, if you don't mind paying over the odds to sleep in a damp portacabin look no further, if we could off afford it, we would not of stayed, but as this was not a holiday we didn't have much say,but did cut our stay short."

"Pier view is a lovely little house with everything that you will need in a home from home. The views from the property are amazing and Mesmerising. There is plenty to see and do in the area too with walks and botanical gardens close by and not to far away from supermarkets and shops if needed. Would highly recommend if you just want to get away from it all and relax."
