"This property is on a sandy beach. The 2 bedroom cottage was clean with a well equipped kitchen. Weather makes all the difference for our 3 day stay. Rain was torrential driving there, but cleared just before we arrived. It was sunny and warm for the 3 days, with only another rain storm at night."

The check in and out was effortless and we were centrally located close to all the wonderful things Mabou and surrounding communities had to offer including a couple of breath taking beaches! "The view from this place is worth a million dollars! It was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. The peaceful walk down to the beautiful, secluded beach made it feel like the perfect spot for our romantic getaway.The location was also fantastic and very central to several of our Nova Scotia bucket-list stops, including the Red Shoe Pub, Glenora Distillery, and the Cabot Trail, while still feeling quiet and tucked away.The home was very clean, comfortable, simple, and easy — exactly what we needed. Michael had everything ready for us, including everything we needed for our morning coffee, which was such a nice touch. He took the time to check in to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us some great local recommendations.We were close to everything we needed while still having the peace, privacy, and incredible scenery we were hoping for. We would absolutely recommend this place, especially for couples looking for a quiet Cape Breton getaway with an unforgettable view!"

"Myself and best friend rented this property for 2 nights. We both brought our children. It was a very reasonable rate compared to other properties we looked at. We were not looking for luxury, just a comfortable place to stay while we explored Inverness. Pros: there is a lot of cupboard space in the kitchen, beds were comfortable, shared laundry room, nice fireplace, beautiful view of the beach/sunset. The cleaner found my daughter's wallet under her bed. She was very kind and honest and express posted it to us. You can walk to Inverness beach easily. The beach is handy and the water was warm! Cons- it can get warm without AC and there wasnt a screen on the upstairs window. There were too many bugs to have it open. There was a fan though. The deck was also a shared space, which might not work for some groups. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and would stay there again"
