This property is peaceful with better views in-person than pictured. I was solo on the trip, but would not hesitate visit with family. I didn't see any whales in the water during my stay, but that's just luck. Closest Safeway is only 15-20 minutes away which isn't too bad. I enjoyed the small towns nearby. Overall, my stay was very pleasant. I will definitely come back in the future!
The view, the view, the view…..overlooks the hood canal and has great views of the Olympic mountains. Serenity at its finest. The house was cozy and clean. It was a great place to relax and we will definitely try and stay here again!

This is a lovely property with lots of amenities. We loved how quiet and private it was. It was perfect for a getaway for two busy moms who needed a weekend break. Close enough to be there in a couple of hours but far enough away to really feel like an escape. Port Townsend and Fort Gamble are nearby and are charming places to explore. We loved it!
This place was pretty spectacular. Great views, private, great decking, comfy bed and well stocked kitchen. I appreciated how quiet it was (some ambient road nosier) and was really blown away by the vistas. There is amazing outdoor space (would have loved to have an umbrella or some covered space). We were looking for a quiet getaway and this place had it all. We will definitely return.
Wonderful view and great access to the eastern Olympics.
The property has a wonderful view of the hood canal and Olympic mountains. There is a huge common space with two dining areas and two living areas. The bedrooms are a bit sparse and only one full bath in the main room. It was fine for two of us with a toddler.
Nicely appointed! Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with excellent quality appliances and utensils. The deck is enormous and I look forward to coming back in the summer to take advantage of that.
The host responded very quickly when I contacted him to ask a question. House was really clean and in great repair. They've clearly taken great pains with this property.

Fantastic House
This house is one of the best rentals we’ve been to. The view is just breathtaking. The house itself, is in really perfect condition and spotless. There was a welcome basket waiting for us with coffee and lots of snacks The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in with high quality cookware and has just about everything you can think of for pantry items (spices, sugar, flour, oils butter, mustard ketchup.etc.) available along with some food is you were in need of something to eat. We used the BBQ a few times. The linens and towels are high quality and the king bed was very comfortable. We loved playing in the large yard. Also enjoyed the chill, country-like location. We will definitely return to this gem!

Clean, quiet, and beautiful accommodation along the Hood Canal. Accommodation is true to the listing with the comforts of home. House is well-equipped for hosting a family with an older infant or young toddler. We had a wonderful stay!
Had a lovely view of Hood Canal and mountains. My husband and I enjoyed our master bedroom and bathroom. Great for a couples stay. Very clean and welcoming!
Peaceful. Expansive views. Easy access to Port Townsend and surrounding areas. Kitchen has pretty much anything you need to cook with (skillets, pots, salad spinner, mixing bowls, etc). The sunroom was a plus with views from inside the house.
