Staff friendly & helpful. Had twin room with private bathroom, all super clean and room had a great fan! Happy with the location. Loved the swimming pool, under cover seating areas and pool table. Would stay again for sure.

Great hostel and I’ve stayed in many in my time. I am a woman solo traveller and felt very safe and accommodated at this great value for money hostel!!! Highly recommend if you like to laze about in the sun by the pool and take in all the sights of port macquarie in a central location.

Great stopover

Great overnight stay at Ozzie Pozzie. Room was clean, and beds were really comfortable. Great location, and there’s a small car park (or plenty of parking on the street). Will definitely stay here again on our trips from Sydney to Qld.

This is such a nice hostel. Small rooms but cosy and bright and really nice outdoor areas. Its been very well thought out. Only issue was it was raining way too heavy to use them which is not their fault. Also the person staying in the room next to me was blasting music at 11pm and again at 5am, but that's not the fault of the hostel

Very good experience at Ozzie Pozzie Backpackers - YHA. The managers were friendly and gave good advice. We are a couple, so we took a private room, and it was very clean and cosy. In addition, there is a lot of entertainment such as a pool table, table tennis, swimming pool, TV room and much more! I highly recommend it!

This is convenient accomodation to stay with friendly staff and amenities one would need for a home away stay. Only thing disappointing is i booked a fan room but was given a room without a fan and no reception staff after 7:30pm.. so it was a long night trying to get a good sleep.

Decent place to stay. Big room. There were quite a few small hairson the bed (maybe fell off the person cleaning the room). Facilities were good - kitchen, ping pong table etc

Everything about the hostel was good, clean, well stocked and convenient. My one problem was with communication - on 2 occasions before I arrived I phoned and each time I was sent to voice mail, (despite being a time when reception was supposedly staffed) where the message about staffing times proved to be wrong. I left a message asking to be called back but I received no call back.

Single room was very quiet &comfortable. Perfect

My single room had a comfortable bed, a chair and a shelf with enough space for my needs. The ceiling fan was quiet and powerful. The shared bathroom was always clean during my stay. There are 3 single rooms sharing that bathroom so access was never a problem and I barely saw or heard the other occupants. The kitchen and dining areas were always clean with all that I needed. Staff were friendly and welcoming. There are not a lot of on-site parking spots but it was never hard to find one. The on-street parking was free, unrestricted and not crowded if needed.

It's a hostel.

The pool was cold but nice, the room was very homely, was no air con so if you are Canadian this is rough. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The lady who came into my room when I had just finished dressing, that was awkward but we got through it. lol. I also did not love having to pull all the bedding off the bed to bring to the front desk. So weird!
