Reel'em Inn - Adventures Start Here!

The Reel 'em Inn @ POC has been in our family for a few years now and has been through a lot. Countless card game nights, barbeque and seafood feasts in the back yard, s'mores on the fire pit and plenty of laughs by the pool and fishing stories! Come on down and stay a spell. During your stay we hope you have a shell in your pocket, sand between your toes and a fish bending your pole!
We are close to King Fisher Beach on Matagorda Bay and near boat ramps to launch your boat. Pet friendly with doggie door and fenced yard. Swimming pool with deck and outside bathroom. Fish and duck cleaning area. You can enjoy the ocean breeze and view of the ICW from the house deck or the breezy sitting area below. There is also free parking on the RV area that will accommodate large offshore boats or an RV to accommodate extra guests with electric and water hook up for extra Fee. Please read the house rules especially concerning pets, and pool.

The stay was great. All the essentials were provided. We got to see the sunrise and sunset. The fenced in backyard was a huge plus for our doggies. Parking for the boat/truck and additional vehicle was also a plus. Mark, the host, was extremely welcoming and accommodating. We were maybe a half mile from Clark’s dock and close to King Fisher Beach. We will be staying here again.

The house is in a great spot, close to the main road and stores and close to the beach. Everything was comfortable and clean. Plenty of amenities, cooking essentials, and shower needs. This was our first time visiting POC, and the house was perfect. There was plenty of room for our boat, which is always a must. Mark was very accommodating and had an extension cord and water hose ready for our use and he even gave us a few pointers on where to find the fish! We will definitely be back!

Weekend fishing getaway

We came for a quick weekend of fishing. The house was clean and loved that everything was labeled so there was no guessing what light switch to turn on, or cabinet to open. Only downside was that the pool looked a little green so the kids were disappointed, but mom and dad didn’t want to get in anyway.

Perfect! We loved this place!

We booked for three nights to meet up with old friends and two days of fishing. The pool is great after a long day chasing Reds in the back lakes, the outdoor area below the home is perfect for cooking out and telling lies about the one that got away, the owner is courteous and responsive to any needs or questions, and the home was clean and well stocked. Another perk was ample room to park both of our bay boats, trucks, and an additional vehicle. I highly recommend this home! We will be back for our next trip to POC.
