Port of Patras

The hotel looks nice but that’s about the only good thing I can say about the hotel. When we got our room, there was hair in the shower and on the shower head. The bathroom door does not lock or provide any privacy as anyone in the room can hear everything. The shower only has a half wall so water gets all over the floor. The beds were stiff and not comfortable. We were on the 4th floor and could hear any and all conversations happening outside and down the hall. The staff never greeted us, didn’t ask us if we needed anything. The restaurant staff were rude and didn’t seem to want to be bothered. I guess the only other nice amenity was it is close to the beach but to get to the city center is 40 mins away.

Stunning property nestled between a couple of other related properties. Very quiet and beautiful grounds, rooms and accommodations. The staff are incredible; friendly, welcoming and eager to help make the stay a pleasure - and it was. We spent 5 days here; 5 days of that truly decadent breakfast, 5 days enjoying the luxurious grounds and service. Lana and the staff here made us feel like family. Arkoudi, the nearby town, is wonderful and has some great restaurants and a really nice bay beach if you find you want to explore outside this Grecotel resort area. My work brought us here, and it's been a lovely discovery - we would like to return to the area and the Mandola Rosa for another trip in the future!
