Hotel Bordoy Continental Valldemossa

"The good - the staff were exceptionally helpful (apart from 1 waiter at breakfast) I asked for an extra bed in the room, an iron, more towels, a mattress topper and a robe and everything was provided quickly and with a smile, thank you. The views are lovely although we had rain throughout our stay so couldn’t sit out and enjoy them. No noise at all at night (we were on 5th floor) The not so good- the mattresses were awful, very hard and the toppers too thin to make a difference. Only a kettle in the room no coffee machine. No room service. No concierge or porter to greet you on arrival (this may be down to the cost, there are other much more expensive hotels in the area). The bar area is small and uninspiring when needing to sit inside due to bad weather. Breakfast selection was perfectly adequate but the poached eggs were undercooked and bacon was inedible as it was so badly burnt. Overall, I would not return due to the mattresses being so uncomfortable."

"A very authentic, peaceful and tranquil location, very much off the beaten track (approx 5 mins drive from Valledemossa - you definitely need a car). Room was clean and spacious. Nice pool that was cleaned every day. Breakfast was excellent. Service was good, especially at breakfast. All round this is a great place to stay when visiting the Serra de Tramuntana"

"The service was amazing, they do go above and beyond to make sure everything in your trip goes well, even hotel unrelated things. They helped me organize my proposal and they solved any inconvenience or question I had. The food in the restaurant is also great for both dinner and breakfast. I love how the hotel only has 12 rooms and it really does feel like you are there to relax."

"This small hotel is located in the bustling heart of Valldemossa. Our room had great views of the village and mountains. This is a very old, historic property but it is in need of some repair and upkeep - for example window shutters being temperamental to opening/closing, floor tiles needing replacing and electrical sockets needing repair. Staff were really friendly and helpful. A great inclusive breakfast served in an atmospheric dining area which looked out to views and the street below. Valldemossa gets ridiculously busy after 10am with day trippers but we expected this and it did not spoil our stay in the mountain village. We would recommend visiting the Chopin museum and the monastry. This is a 'day time' destination with lots of bars/restaurants/coffee shops open during daylight hours, but after 6pm many of these places close and options to eat out in the evening become very limited. Overall, given the price of our stay at Cas Papa, we would recommend it and Valldemossa itself."

"If you are looking for views, you can stop looking with this one!!. Stunning views from back yard. Such a great property for 3 couples on a cycling trip to Mallorca, just off the famous MA-10. Could not have been any better. Rode every day out of this location to world class climbs, descents and towns. Easy check in and great communication with local contact."

"This was one of the most exquisite places we have ever stayed! The property is even more beautiful than the photos. It was secluded, peaceful, comfortable, luxurious... we felt as though we were living in a castle. The kitchen was well stocked, including the second kitchen down by the pool. We spent a great deal of time in and around the pool, and it was so convenient to have a full sized refrigerator down there! The grounds are so beautifully cultivated and maintained. We were there for the eclipse but also enjoyed stargazing, and saw many shooting stars from the Perseid meteor shower. This is a place we could go back to again and again! And our host was so easy to reach and responsive to all our requests and questions!"

"We had the most amazing time at Ca S'Escultor! Adam is an exceptional host! He is extremely responsive, accommodating, and super friendly. Everything about this property exceeded expectations. The view is breathtaking - a panoramic view of Valldemossa. So peaceful and rejuvenating. We dined al fresco every night and enjoyed all day by the pool, with quick trips into town for pastries and cappuccinos! Adam has fully stocked the property with everything you need for a fun, relaxing vacation. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Adam for letting us stay in this amazing property. 10000/10!"
