Super cute cottage, fully modernized, very clean and quiet with everything you need. Lived sitting and enjoying the view of the lake. Excellent communication from owner.
This house is perfect. We rented this house last year and it thoroughly met our needs to be close to our great grandchildren. They were able to enjoy the water while we slept there at night. The beach is very nice with a blue splash bad on the shore that has anchor so it can be moved to the water. The beach toys are amazing for children as is the varied assortment of chairs, table, and 2 large umbrellas on the deck with a picnic table in the yard kayaks and flotation equipment. We did use the outdoor fire pit and enjoyed the fireflies which I have not seen in many years. The kitchen is very nicely stocked and the towels are well supplied for enjoying the beach. We did wash the towels to beach towels to reuse each day, but the selection is very good. We plan to try again next year for this house. Thank you Savannah for making our stay so pleasant.
My family of 6 had an excellent stay! The back patio is lakefront and it great for all ages. The home comes equipped with all the comforts of home (shampoo, conditioner, fully stocked kitchen, towels, etc) plus many extras (coffee bar, kayaks, beach toys, inside kids toys, books, games, etc ). The A/C worked well in higher than normal temperatures. Communication with the property owner was fast and friendly! The house is decorated super cute. I feel the price is fair for the location. The only cons I had were that the house is on a SUPER busy road. It doesn't affect the back yard but when loading/unloading cars it's something to be acutely aware of. Also, some of the items around the house need replacing; one of the seats of the kayak was broken, the fire pit was crushed and therefore inoperable and a couple of the plastic lounge chairs were broken. Overall, doesn't affect the wonder of the property. We would rent the property again if we ever return to the area.
I recently stayed at Sam’s Lake House, AMAZING with breathtaking views of the lake. The large windows allowed me to fully enjoy the serene winter scenery, as snow fell. Sam was incredibly responsive and went out of her way to ensure my stay went smoothly, even arranging the cleaning crew to expedite their work.Thoughtful touches throughout the house, like the wide variety of games available—even 420 games, though it's important to note that smoking isn't allowed on the property. The check-out instructions were very clear, making the departure process stress-free. I appreciated the ample closet space in the bedroom. The dreamy clawfoot bathtub in the downstairs bathroom was a definite highlight!A few minor details: the upstairs bathroom tub is peeling, and while there’s a slip mat, I did have a slip (which was on me). Also, there is no dishwasher, so be prepared to wash dishes by hand. The refrigerator needs a good deep clean. That said, I never memtioned these to Sam as she was so accommodating these things could have been missed rushing to get me in. Parking was a little tricky with fast-moving cars, and Sam explained the garage wasn’t available due to storage. Things that could have made the stay better: aTV in the downstairs bedroom, warmer blankets, covered awnings for the patios, and a door to go out to the deck instead of the side. 8.9 out of 10!
The location was lovely, and the property feels very private and secluded. We enjoyed our time on the lake. The house is comfortable and nicely furnished.
We stayed here for our annual Mother Daughter get away. It is such a relaxing location. We had a great time on the pontoon, as well as enjoying the comforts in the house. Samantha went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. She’s excellent communicating if there are any questions. The weekend went way too fast.
