"Among 1 and 2 star motels along the trans canada hwy, this is one of the better ones I’ve encountered. Perfect place to stop when passing through, convenient grocery store 100 m away and a great bed."

"The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Breaskfast was a self serve continental--bagels or toast, instant oatmeal or cereal, yogurt, coffee, fruit. Not bad for a small establishment. Friendly helpful staff."
"Loved the Barker! Suites are more like apartments with separate bedroom, living room, and full kitchen. Free laundry and breakfast. Not your normal hotel, decor is minimalist but clean and relaxing. Will definitely stay again and recommend. "
Luxury Cabin with Private Beach... Right on the water!
10/10 Excellent
"Luxury is right! Amazing property right on a private sandy beach. Very quiet and relaxing with beautiful sunsets. The house (cabin) is very comfortable and clean with everything you could possibly need and more. Looking forward to booking again next year!"
"This was a strange place. I had called ahead and the person I spoke to confirmed our reservation but did not say anything about check in. We arrived after 6 and there was no office. We called and the person we spoke to said we should have filled out a google form weeks ago (we had booked the day before). Explaining we had booked the previous day on Expedia they were no help at all and told us we should go to the recreation center. We found that and the people at the desk make a few phone calls and were also confused. They finally sent us to another building that we finally found someone who could provide us with a key. When asked where to park they said they didn’t know.
The room was large and clean but the walls were so thin we could clearly hear the people in the next room. There was also a group of youth that ran up and down the hallways until the wee hours of the night. It seemed more like a doem than a hotel. Strange place and I was happy to leave the next morning. "
