Un havre de paix et de convivialité

Un peu difficile à trouver avec un GPS et au bout d'un chemin de terre mais au bout le paradis. Ça se mérite. Et accueil plein de gentillesse et de serviabilité. Très grandes pièces décorées d'armures et armes anciennes. Propreté sans faille. Grande chambre élégante et literie de bonne qualité. Dans la campagne a quelques kilomètres de Portalegre mais si reposant après une journée de voiture et de visites.

Heerlijk verblijf in gerenoveerd klooster.

Prachtig gerenoveerd klooster uit begin periode van de middeleeuwen. Vrij toegankelijke gemeenschappelijke woonkamer en eetkamers met veel historische elementen. Luisterrijk gedecoreerd met oude spullen. Vriendelijke personeel met bruikbare informatie over de omgeving. 20 minuten rijden naar het mooie plastsje Marvão. Ruime kamer met lekker bad. Mooie omgeving in het bos. Peima ontbijt.

The property did not have a charger for electric vehicles but the staff was super helpful in allowing us to charge the car overnight with a regular wall socket and an extension cord. The breakfast was amazing and the property is very quiet with beautiful surroundings.

Boutique Rural Turismo near Portalegre

Beautifully restored convent with some 15th century areas. Lovely pool with relaxing area especially appreciated on the hot day we were there. We were able to enjoy breakfast outside in the historic surroundings. Super nice.

Havre de paix !

Une bâtisse qui ne laisse pas indifférent. Un hôtel musée qui vous plonge dans l histoire de cette région et du Pays. Un lieu de villegiature idéal pour visiter Marvao, Portalegre, Castelo de Vide et la Serra de Sao Mamede à quelques kilomètres de l espagne (estramadura). Un lieu de retraite parfait ! Personnel très tres accueillant et serviable. Je recommande vivement. Belle découverte !

A very quiet and comfortable place to stay "away from it all". The woman in charge spoke very good English and was excited to tell us about the old monestary. She also gave a good recommendation for dinner which they do not provide.

Beaucoup de charme

Dans un ancien couvent, un olivier extraordinaire, une déco intérieure remarquable, une grande piscine, bref un hôtel à découvrir pour explorer le parc de Sao Mamede. A 5 mn de Portalegre, et environ 20mn de Marvao ou Castelo de Vide. Le personnel est adorable et vous fera découvrir les trésors de l'établissement. Trés bons conseils pour le tourisme aux alentours.

HEERLIJK RUSTIG HOTEL

Gelegen aan een bekend natuurpark bij Marvao en Clo. de Vide. Mooie kamers, bijzondere inrichting (ridders en jonkvrouwen, monniken en concubine bisschoppen). Bijzonder gastvrije medewerkers en een heerlijk pool. En dat voor een fancy prijs.

Travelling on my harley from santander to vale do lobo I decided to stay here "" I missed my. Turn in even with my expensive sat nav. But a nice local lady drove. Me to entrance "" its more of a track than road so I forgive my new navigation system "" love the character of the hotel ,,lovely friendly. Staff "very helpful !
