"Emplacement très calme, studio sympa sans lit double, juste un lit superposé dans un endroit exiguë de 1m50 de large et encore, pour un couple on doit dormir sur le canapé lit, d'un confort relatif et sans couette de la largeur, nous avions deux couettes de 90 , pas très agréable ! L’accès est, comment dire, pas simple , une rampe en béton très pentue ou alors un accès a l’ascenseur par un dédale au sous sol sur des caillebotis en caoutchouc, pas simple non plus avec quelques bagages ! "We enjoyed our stay here. It’s a fairly low key hotel in a low key town but very peaceful and friendly. The owners are very family focussed and there is a children’s toy area in the corner of the small restaurant. There’s a boot room downstairs for storing ski gear (and I believe my bikes in the summer). The set and a la carte menus are good if limited in choice which suited us. It’s necessary to book…as is the case with anywhere in Termignon and the other Val Cenis villages. "

"This hotel is awful and disgusting; the smell of mold and dust instantly chokes you as you enter. The bed was hard, the pillows were awful, and the blanket was very thin, making the winter stay extremely cold. The bathroom is designed in such a way that even with a heater, the shower remains freezing cold. "Location is perfect - ski in ski out, steps to everything in the village. Our room was a littel small but then again, we booked the cheapest room in the hotel. I'm sure there are upgrades available for a little more $$. Great terrace/restaurant overlooking the mountain. Room for improvement on the bathroom size and tv with screen mirrorinng option would be nice if you don't speak french well enough to follow French tv. BUT we didnt spend much time in our room so it wasn't big deal. Would stay there again."

"Communiation with the owner was great, with prompt responses to all enquiries. Detailed access information was emailed a few days before our departure. We arrived late so the reception was closed. However the instructions provided a key code for the main door and also for a key box by the apartment door.The apartment is ideally located directly on the slopes with ski in/out access. It is well appointed and had everything we needed for our group of four men. There is a double bedroom and 2 bunk beds behind a curtain in the entrance hall. Opposite the bunks is a small alcove area behind a curtain containing a single mattress with shelving above. There is also a double sofabed in the living area.The layout worked perfectly for us, however storage may tight if occupied to full capacity. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, hob, full oven, coffee machines, kettle, toaster and fridge-freezer. There is a full range of utensils, crockery, cutlery, mugs and glasses. There is a TV with French channels which also has HDMI input. A small cupboard below contains a few games, cards and dominoes.There is a bathroom with large shower and a basin. It also houses a washing machine and airer. There is a separate toilet.There is a vacuum cleaner if you decide to clean the apartment yourself. We opted for an end of stay clean and also paid extra for bed linen, towels, tea towels and dish cloth. It's a 5 minute walk to shops, restaurants and ski hire.Skiing is fantastic."

"We had a really enjoyable week in this apartment, and the location was excellent.The apartment is very close to the sports centre, spa, and Carrefour/Spar supermarkets. It’s also only around a 100m walk to access the piste via the rear door, and when conditions are good, it’s possible to ski back to the door.The apartment itself is a good size. There were four adult men in our group, with one in each room and one on the sofa bed, and it never felt cramped. All beds apart from the sofa bed were very comfortable. We used a mattress topper stored in the base of the double bed to make the sofa bed more comfortable.The apartment is basic but has everything needed for a week’s stay. The oven is very small and positioned on a high shelf, which makes it awkward to use, but we were still glad to have it. Overall, the apartment is showing its age and would benefit from a general update and refresh. We also noticed slow-draining sinks/showers, loose toilet seats, and a coffee machine that wasn’t working.Access is arranged by calling Ludo around 30 minutes before arrival. He is based in Sports 2000 in the sports centre. We struggled to get through on his mobile, so had to collect the keys and bedding from the shop instead. It wasn’t a major issue as it’s nearby, but it would have been helpful if this was clearly explained in the host’s guide.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider booking again if we return to Val Thorens."
