Weekend Retreat

The property is an amazing place to have a quiet weekend disconnected. The accommodations are rustic but very comfortable even in cooler temperatures it was very comfortable inside. The remote kitchenette and bathroom were fully functional with plenty of hot water.

My girlfriend and I booked this stay for a joint birthday trip to get away from the city and this was the absolute perfect spot to stay. Kristin was fantastic and super accommodating and kind! Plenty of space heaters in the Bali House for warmth overnight and the wood fire hot tub was amazing! Will be returning!

A true glamming experience

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary and it was a perfect glamping experience that exceeded my expectations. A perfect location for those who are hiking Silver Falls and Abiqua Falls.

The very best of relaxation glamping!

What a lovely place to retreat and soak away all the busy and stress of every day life. The Bali House is so comfortable and relaxing. Kitchen and bathroom amenities in the barn/stable are well stocked if not completely private. So many personal little touches on the Bali House (tea, water, morning espresso) really put this over the top.

We haven’t been able to decompress like that in years. The Bali House and the farm are so stunning and the sounds of nature are delightful to listen to. Staff was polite and very hospitable. Very happy with our stay and will book another stay in the future.

Enchanted Space!

I’m hesitant to share too much so that when I try to book here again I will always be full! The location is great hikes right off the property are amazing. And most of all the hosts Kristin is incredible and really cares about you enjoying your stay and feeling free on the land. A childhood friend and I spent a weekend here and didn’t wanna leave. Immense respect and gratitude and awe for the time Kristin put into this Bali House..charming beyond!

Bali House paradise

Just WOW! My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this amazing property, and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We literally felt the stress of everyday life and pressures melt off as we wandered around this park-like setting. The animals were all so friendly and sweet, and everything was extremely clean. The hot tub was fantastic, and the bed super comfortable. I do not have one negative thing to say about our stay, and will be recommending this property to all of our friends. The perfect ending to our summer!

Amazing! A must book!

This property was amazing. Kristen was so thorough in the check in process. I absolutely loved the property and the Bali was so cool. A one of a kind stay. At first I thought the bathroom being outside the house would be an issue but it wasn’t! One the coolest bathrooms/kitchenette I’ve ever seen. Cool to wash dishes and cook with the horses next to you. Loved the gravel floor in the Bali house, too! Such a cool experience.

An amazing experience -- Wonderful and Relaxing!

What a wonderful stay we had at the Bali House. The inside of the Bali House is super cozy and relaxing and includes a super nice soaking barrel-style hot tub. It was a super unique experience and the host provided us with honey from their farm, fresh eggs from their chicken, and fresh water from their well. The farm had horses and a friendly doggo we got to know well. Everyone on the farm was super friendly and helpful. By the end of our stay, we didn't want to leave. This was more than just a place to stay for us, it was an unforgettable experience! We will definitely be back!

Perfect Cozy Getaway

Perfect weekend getaway

We had a great time at Kristin's. The Bali House is a special place to stay for a few days, if you're aware that it's more like glamping than staying in a cabin or cottage (and we were aware going into it, so it was great!). Kristin was very communicative on the front end and took us on a tour of her property, which is stunning, when we arrived. It was fun to greet the horses every time we went up to the barn to use the kitchen or bathroom. The cat and go are super friendly too. Silverton is super close if you want to get out for a bite or a bit of shopping. And it was great that coming from Portland we only had to drive 1.25 hours to feel like we'd gone far, far away!

Peaceful Getaway

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend to get away from everything. It was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect and get away or for a romantic weekend. Just a short drive to Silver Falls / Silverton for some other adventures.

Mom and daughter trip

My daughter and I loved our stay on the farm. We petted the horses (including a baby!), walked farm trails, relaxed in the hammock, listened to owls at night, made friends with the dog and barn cat, soaked in the hot tub and more. The Bali House and historic barn are gems to behold! We’ll be back someday!

Beautiful converted greenhouse on a working farm

The space was gorgeous and the soaking tub was definitely appreciated during the cold days and nights! The driveway was challenging with the unusually high amount of snow for the time of year but Kristin was communicative about that beforehand. It was a little farther outside of town than I realized which only became an issue because I had car trouble. Lyft and uber are not possible from the location but likely they wouldn’t be part of the plan for most guests’ glamping getaway . Kristin provides wonderful amenities like food, espresso machine, tea, etc. Overall we had a great time!

A Must Stay

Kristin was so wonderful to coordinate, very communicative and flexible. The Bali house is beautiful and with the space heaters provided totally doable in even the winter months. Kristin has obviously thought out the details of the space to make it a magical stay. Only things we wished we had were ear plugs for the wind storm and eye masks for the early morning light. Affectionate and adorable animals to say hello to in the morning and a cozy soaking tub for the evening, you can’t go wrong with a stay here!
