Modern West End Studio

Modern top floor studio apartment in a walk up 3 floor building which has been recently fully renovated located in the heart of West End offers private exterior entrance from Rooftop deck with Portland Harbor views. The apt is couple blocks away from vibrant downtown Portland and Old Port. This apartment is just a short walk to all the best Portland has to offer, with attractions such as museums, theaters and many popular bars and restaurants. We have smart locks which give self check in at your convenience.

This private space offers free WiFi and includes the latest technology, smart locks for a private check in and out, Nest thermostats for a temperature that suits you, Smart TV for streaming entertainment and an Alexa controlled Fabriq speaker for you to enjoy your music. Please note we do not have any cable or basic channels with our T.V. as we offer free Netflix for guests to choose shows or films from. The Kitchen is fully operational with a microwave, oven and stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, dishware, flatware and complimentary tea and coffee. There is enough dishware/flatware for 3-4 people. We do also provide a few pots and pans with kitchen utensils to cook with. Bathroom has a shower/tub combination and complimentary toiletries are provided. Bedroom has one queen size bed and two seats for lounging.

We also offer free laundry facilities which is located at the back of the property.

You can find plenty of free parking at the end of the road. There is also a beautiful park many guests enjoy visiting on York St.

Modern Apartment in a not-so modern Building

The apartment was clean, well equipped with good facilities and there was a lovely welcome basket on the kitchen table. It was slightly let down by the building being older than anticipated. The floors were very uneven, the shared hall/steep staircase was fusty and the large bedside cabinet meant that one side of the bed close to the wall. During the stay work was being done to the outside of the property (from early in the morning) which blocked the way through to the washing machine area so we can't comment on those facilities. It was a 10 minute walk into town and was easy find to find.

This home is the farthest from "Modern" one could get!

This is a very OLD home, which I do not have an issue with at all. It was the musty, dank smell that hits you when you open the outside door that was unwelcoming. The smell carried on through to the apartment. The linens on the bed did not appear freshly laundered. We did not feel the least bit comfortable. After 20 minutes in the apartment we left and headed for a clean and comfortable hotel.
