Fantastic host, fantastic place, fantastic location. 30 second walk out to a massive green lawned park overlooking the water. Easy stroll downtown. Dan was a very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating host. We had a great stay and would return again.

Beautiful location

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend before heading to Southwest Harbor, ME. The property was clean and comfortable. We loved the location just across from Eastern Promenade. It was a great home base for us as we explored Portland!

Great stay and the location was fantastic. Beautiful park with awesome water views directly across the street. Dan and Pam were great hosts! 1 mile easy walk on the waterfront to downtown Portland or take a Lyft for less than $7!!!! Love this place!

Best View in Portland!

It was the best view of Casco Bay and such a unique home. Beautiful accommodations that are both historic yet updated for comfort and convenience. Our host was phenomenal! So friendly…we thought he was one of our neighbors from Louisiana (not just because of his homemade hot sauce that he sent home with us, but more importantly because of his hospitality!)

Very good place

We stayed here when we came to Portland for a wedding. We stayed three nights. The manager, Dan was amazing. He is very kind and responsive. His place is clean, cute and amazing location. Just across the street from a linear park along Casio Bay. Plug for his business, he makes hot sauce and bbq sauce.

My husband and I stayed for two nights and would buy this property if we could! Perfect location! Gracious and fabulous hosts! So freaking clean you can smell it! Best!!!! If you are looking for the perfect getaway property, choose this one!!!! We WILL be back!

Great

I would give Dan and property 5 stars but for us 80 plus years olds; the 20 winding stairs to the condo was a problem. A great condo for younger folks. Dan did a great job to make us feel comfortable.

Beautiful Scenery

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Portland. Dan was a very gracious host and was very responsive to all of our needs. The home is directly across the street from Fort Allen Park and if you walk down to the base of the hill there are walking trails where many people are biking and running. This trail leads to the center of town which is a walkable distance to the many restaurants. We did a ferry tour and highly recommend it. We had a wonderful time in Portland and definitely would consider staying here again.

Amazing!

We loved our stay in Portland at the Ocean View Victorian! The room was simple but everything that we needed. Super comfortable bed. Bathroom was nicely updated. Kitchen was more than adequate for our needs of cooking breakfast. Our host Dan gets 10+ stars for his hospitality and gracious nature. He greeted us with an amazing bottle of his award winning hot sauce that we enjoyed immensely during our stay. We also enjoyed Mo, Dan’s beautiful black Labrador (she helped to make us feel right at home 😊) Location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere. Coffee shops are a close walk. Cute grocery store close by. Our favorite spots were… Fore Street restaurant for a nice dinner Lukes’s on the pier for seafood Becky’s diner for breakfast Duckfat for poutine Blythe and Burrows as favorite bar You know you had a great time when you are sad to leave.

Great location, when you go outside across the street short distance, beautiful view of water. It’s fairly quiet, perfect distance from downtown if you are looking for quiet. Host was awesome, very friendly and polite. Bathroom was clean, very tight in space, fortunately we are not big people! There were 4 small very basic chairs to sit on. I used for my suitcases. I personally felt it was very outdated and bedding and rug was not clean. I prefer crisp white sheets. Room is up a narrow stairway with a simple deadbolt lock and free access to anyone. I would not stay here again, we stayed our 2 nights, would prefer hotel. Everyone has different expectations.
