Loved the apartment and proximity to town and UNH… great restaurants… immaculate apt… lawn and entrance need a little attention but regardless we would stay there again and recommended it to my son .
The apartment is super conveniently located with parking, was clean, and had all the necessary amenities for me, and plenty of space, comfortable bed. It's a place with more of the personal touches than many of the corporate rentals. Nice place for pets too!
Reservation process was easy and very accommodating. The apartment was very clean with a quaint charm. The only negative aspect was the traffic noise and there’s also a train station close by
This was our first foray into staying outside of a hotel. We are so glad we did. Everything was as advertised and we needed nothing.
Travis and his team have set the bar high for all future stays!
We moved away from this area several years ago, but it felt like we never left!
Plenty of space and the neighbors were nice!
Book this place, you will not regret it.
This property was great for the price. It was clean and had a lot of character. We used it to stay when visiting Salem for the weekend. About an hour drive away with tons of stuff to do in the area. Well worth it. And we had a fam of 5 in there. Couch was not that comfortable but all other sleeping beds were great. Highly recommend for the price. And thanks for the complimentary wine!
Big old house converted into apartments. Old and well worn, but our apartment was clean and comfortable. Great location near downtown Dover. Convenient parking. Helpful hosts who provided great restaurant tips. Note that check-in info was not provided until day of arrival. Not a problem, just not what we're used to on VRBO. We'd definitely stay here again when in Dover. Recommended!
This is a great location in Dover! Easy to get to driving into town, dedicated parking, and walkable to downtown. A very historic home with the apartment looking recently renovated/modern. It was very spacious for three and free wine! Had everything we needed for our stay.
A few things causing me to dock a star: I had to proactively text the host the day we were scheduled to arrive for check in instructions, otherwise no communication issues. With multiple units in the house, there were folks from others smoking on the porch almost every time we came/went, though NO smoke was detectable in the apartment whatsoever. Located on a busy street there was some street noise even at night, though the window fans made this almost unnoticeable.
Overall we enjoyed our time here, and we would 100% stay again when in the area.
Plenty of room for two, functional space. The full kitchen with stove/cooktop was great. Various cooking pans, dishes, utensils, variety coffee & tea with coffee pot. Towels, bedding and toiletries included. Nice smart TV and all kinds of books.
Any issue that I had was dealt with promptly and we were so comfy here. Great communication with the owner and property manager was super nice and friendly.
The road noise (it is walking distance to downtown) can be loud but at night after rush hour, its quiet. There is a community trail a couple blocks away & very safe neighborhood!
The entryway/common area was not clean & could be vacuumed. The apartment itself was spotless and sure enjoyed the bottle of wine!
Would definitly stay here again!
The good - apartment was clean and had all the things needed. I can appreciate what the owners are trying to do in fixing up a large house/building and that takes time. We also met them and they seem like good people and were very responsive. I did not find street noise to be a problem like others commented.
But i have to review this honestly so… the bad - the building needs a lot of work. The outside is pretty rough. Inside is also pretty rough in regards to entrance and hallway (dirty, cluttered, dog smell. The bed could use a new mattress.
We did not have a bad experience, but for the price i expect a bit more.
We actually did not stay in this particular property due to the scheduling issues with the host. However, Travis put us in another property of his that was quite nice, close to downtown near neat restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend his properties for the family. Thank you, Travis.
Just as described. Came up for UNH graduation. About 15 minutes from campus. Lovely little town. Apartment was great. Just what we needed. Great communication with owner. Worked out perfectly for us.
I was super I pressed with the host's communication and flexibility. The apartment was so cute and very clean! I would definitely recommend this place to any friends traveling through the area.
Apartment is on the second floor and I had a little difficulty carrying my suitcase up the stairs. Other than that, apartment was just as advertised. There is only room for two to eat at the kitchen breakfast bar, and the coffee maker uses regular coffee, not k-cups. Place was beautifully clean and very quiet. Bed was comfortable and shower was nice and hot. The location is great. I walked two blocks to the Thirsty Moose restaurant one evening. Would definitely stay here again!
Found this great little apartment while looking for place to stay on a weekend visit to dtr at UNH. First time staying in Dover, and we loved the vibe of the town! Bed was comfy, towels were decadent, wifi and location were great and the price was definitely right! Building is pretty old, and apartment had a shabby chic vibe of old building converted to apartment units. Think funky layout, exposed pipes, a little uneven here and there... but overall very comfy and well appointed. Nice touches like coffee/teas to choose from, lots of streaming options, bottle of wine chilled and waiting, off street parking. Communication was great, and we enjoyed our visit.

Ok Stay
Some what shocked when we pulled up to the house which is subdivided into apts. Older house but the real shock was the condition of the outdoors & entry ways. Property unkept w random items on one side of building, junk yardish. Entryway very filty w stains on carpet leading upstairs. Pictures of place isnt what you get. Pretty bedding w tray or throw pillows, No. Snuggly throws on couch, bedding, None. No bedding at all for daybed, trundle pullout, just a pad for both. No bedding or pillows or anything in the many closets. Rug in livingroom is at least half the size. All area carpets slide around floor which had us sliding and tripping multiple times. NO complementary wine as listed. Apt is on 2nd floor which is'nt stated, had to ask. Was charged 125 for pet fee, ad states 100. What ranked the highest rating was it was clean w a comfortable bed & AC kept room comfortable.
Travis, the owner, was very responsive in all of our communications. The apt was well appointed and full of many historic details. When we had an issue with something in the apt, Travis had the property manager attend to it and fix the issue that same day. We can't say enough enough about how nice the Property Manager was to deal with. Highly recommend.
