A coastal town with buildings clustered along the waterfront, a mountain in the background, and boats docked at the harbor.

Grecotel Casa Paradiso

Grecotel Casa Paradiso

10/10 Excellent
"Once again GRECOTEL pleasantly surprised us and made our vacation unforgettable as always The staff was very willing and immediately to serve us in every wish Stavros the manager the staff at the reception (Dimitris etc.) in the restaurant (Irini etc.) in the bar (Maria etc.) all of them impeccable and with a smile on their faces The cleanliness of the rooms at a high level as always The only negative is the return of the bath towel to the reception to give you a clean one. I think something has gone wrong here. Why not leave my used towel as usual at the kiosk and receive a fresh one the next day? Everything else as I said perfect Thank you for your hospitality"

8/10 Good
"Hotel was clean and tidy, room was cleaned daily and linen changed every second day. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic continental and okay. Bathroom very small, particularly the shower (about 80cm x 80cm) and it’s difficult not to get water everywhere as there is a limited side screen and no curtain."

Kosta Palace

Kosta Palace

10/10 Excellent
"I really loved the balcony and view from my room. I also really liked the rooftop pool. I want to give a special shout-out to the staff. I was having trouble getting a taxi to the airport, and the staff, at 3:30 in the morning, jumped right into action to ensure I had an airport transfer after the transfer I booked wasn’t showing up. I appreciate this dedication to customer service at such an early hour in the morning. I anticipate traveling to Kos again in the future, and I look forward to staying at Kosta’s palace again!"

Mitsis Selection Blue Domes

Mitsis Selection Blue Domes

10/10 Excellent
"We loved the self service stations for food whenever, and the number of bars was also great. Loved the number of pools and our private one with access to bigger pool was perfect. Only bad thing was We did the Candle Light dinner, which they forgot to setup when we arrived, so had to come set it up whilst we waited watching, forgot the candles, fairy lights didn’t work etc. Food was good at least. They kindly refunded half the amount due to this which made it worth the money in the end."

What is a historic hotel like in Pothia?
A guest who chooses a historic hotel has a chance to stay in a place that's been recognised with a national historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world have had many former lives and uses, such as castles, stately homes, palaces or even pubs, lodges, old police stations or skyscrapers — any place of special interest. What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
These terms are similar. The term "historic hotel" is more common in the U.S., while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to emphasise the architecture and building. Mainly a heritage hotel draws meaning from the cultural value that the place has and how it influenced the community.

Yes, efforts are made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, but interiors include modern conveniences and safety features.
