"The bnb was fantastic. Gae has done a great job in making your stay super comfortable. The little extras provided were a lovely touch. Even though we didnt avail ourselves of the breakfast (we were booked at a cafe) its great to see a bed and breakfast providing just that. Nice stay "

Soak Up the Sun, Relish the Relaxation

"Tammy was a great property manager once we arrived at the house but very difficult to get hold of prior to arrival. The house has no fans, no aircon, is nowhere near to the usable part of the creek and in a very suburban residential part of Pottsville. We had to drive everywhere even for a coffee some kms away. We also suggest you make it known that you keep bees on the property as one of us was allergic to bees which caused us a lot of stress when they came inside the house . The quality of pillows and beds could do with a serious upgrade . On a very positive note, the owners left a well stocked kitchen which made up for everything else . Overall we enjoyed our stay but would not choose to return . Thankyou "

"Downstairs shower screen broken Downstairs laundry tap broken Floors in bedroom broken Main bathroom tub cold water tap doesn't work (have a video however to large to attach)Black mould on the blinds in the main bathroom Webber BBQ doesn't work (probably no gas)Floors throughout the property are filthy Dog hair on couch (white dog hair)Cot sheet is a single hotel style sheet and not safe sleep. Was unable to use cot.Master bedroom remote is broken Coffee machine broken (although replaced) Laundry door doesn't close properly Everything was super dated and dirty."

Classic Beach House on Surfside - Pet Friendly

"My partner and I (early 60's) stayed in June, and had two friends come and stay for 2 of the 5 nights. The house is perfectly set up for two families with the bottom floor having 2 bedrooms with 2 sets of bunks, and one bedroom with a queen - downstairs is serviced by a good sized bathroom and separate toilet - there is also a good laundry on the ground floor, and a lounge area with a TV. Upstairs is another queen bedroom with ensuite, a large living / dining area and kitchen. The house is well furnished with plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out. Our only complaint would be that there is more bedding needed - the house is very cold in Winter, and with no floor coverings or heating (there is a wood stove, but we could not get it to work as the flue seemed blocked). The doonas were too thin to be effective. The mattresses are very comfortable. The kitchen needs some love - simple things like a bread board and coffee plunger were missing, however there was more than enough crockery, mugs and wine glasses for a big crowd. I would advise that the internal stairs are quite steep. The house has a good vibe to it, and there is plenty of room / areas to hang out. While we were staying Energex were replacing some poiles and we lost power over 2 days. LJ Hooker were very accommodating, polite and responsive and we were happy with how the situation was resolved. All in all, a lovely beach house that just needs a bit of TLC."
