We have stayed here twice now while visiting our student at Marist. It is comfortable and clean and staff was very friendly.

Very convenient to main highway. Free garage parking. Ana at the front desk was very nice and helped with several questions I had. There was another gentleman who helped get the TV going for me. My room was clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely… modern. I would def stay again.

Rooms were great and clean. Couple of restaurants close were great. Partially under construction downstairs. No shopping close but that was ok. Drive was easy to hiking areas.

We were told that this used to be the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel and Hilton took over and is in the midst of renovating. Parking , which is conveniently attached & accessible to/from the hotel, could use some brightening up. The public areas of the hotel still feel dated but renovation is ongoing. Upon check in, the reception agent - who was very pleasant and welcoming - could not find our reservation in their system. I showed him my Expedia reservation and after a bit of searching, he found it in a different system. He still had to key in all of my information in his system but all the while, assured me that we will have a room. That was a relief. The hallway to our room has been renovated but somehow still felt dated. The room is renovated and feels fresh, especially the bathroom. The bathroom toiletries by Crabtree & Evelyn are wonderful! I will to return when the renovation is completed and see how it all comes together.

It would have been helpful to have it explained at check-in that a $50 deposit would be added to the charge. Since this wasn't explained, I was surprised to find I had been charged $50 more than I expected.

Delicious cookie on arrival. Beautiful, newly renovated room, with two free Poland Springs water bottles. Excellent free breakfast buffet. Staff couldn't be nicer. Great place!

Saw Jo Koy at convention center attached to the hotel on 3/21. Hotel was clean, quiet, brand new room, free parking, helpful and friendly staff. There is some renovation going on but we didn't hear it by our room and there was no inconvenience during our stay. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is super nice, parking is confusing. We had Wifi issues. My husband hoped for a coffee in the morning as he does bot like the room coffee makers.

This hotel was very welcoming. ❤️ The check in process was fast and they give a warm welcoming cookie - such a thoughtful gift. There are Lots of Parking Space with easy access to the elevators. The Rooms were Clean and loved the Crabtree & Evelyn Shampoo - Conditioner and lotion. So much I'm purchasing my own set. The bed was super comfortable so we had a restful sleep. Staff were all very helpful and courteous. I will come back and stay on my future visits to Poughkeepsie.

Rooms are newly renovated and we were pleasantly surprised when we found the mini fridge and microwave, which weren’t listed in the room description. Very convenient location to events, restaurants, and bars. It’ll be nice to see how it looks after all of the hotel renovations are completed soon. I would definitely stay here again.

From the second I walked into the lobby I was impressed. Greeted by kind, friendly, and funny staff, I was offered small touches that made the stay special. Hilton took this legacy Poughkeepsie property and updated it to impeccable standards. I can’t recommend this stay enough!

I would have given 5 stars except that the room I booked is not the room I got. I booked a 2 Queen Bed Suite to sleep 6 and got a King Bed suite, that only slept 4. When i asked the front desk to move us they said no queen suites were available and that they weren't even sure how I was able to book it ( i had booked 2 months in advance so this wasnt a last minute booking. No kind of compensation was offered, instead we recieved a blanket and told to use the pull out. We were staying for a weekend long dance competition and i paid extra for a suite to allow comfort and for my child to be well rested, not to have to sleep on a pull out all weekend. The staff in the kitchen/bar area were great. So kind and patient even when they were very busy.
