Room was very hot and no air conditioning. Horrible. They told me that in the fall they turn the air off. Only heat was coming out. Never again

Great value for the money, excellent service
Cleaning service was excellent. Rooms a little dark, missing ceiling light. Pool is great and worth to visit, but remember wearing a swimming cap. Enter free is 5€ and same goes if you buy a cap. Staff at reception always helpful and managed all our expectations with a smile. Thank you.

A good holiday
The hotel is located on the beach front which is accessed through a secure gate from the Pool area of the hotel. This access also leads to a seafront walk to the town centre. The pool is very good and has a chides play area next to it. Sunbeds were sufficient but unless more are available they would be in short supply at busy times. During our stay the hotel was very quiet, which suited us and seemed to cater to groups of coach parties. Breakfast was a good choice from hot with boiled or scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage through to a selection of cooked meats, cereals, croissants etc. Light snacks are available from the bar but as the hotel was quiet finding a member of staff to serve you during the day was quite difficult at times. In the evening there was live entertainment on some days which we enjoyed. Our room was of average size and had a comfortable king size bed, the bathroom had a cascade shower and was of a good standard. Staff in the hotel were without exception very pleasant and helpful, in particular the reception staff we spoke with. The hotel is located near the edge of town but we found several restaurants on the walk into the centre. There is a metro service from the town centre to Porto. We enjoyed our stay.

Great stay & location right on the beach.
Really enjoyed my stay - only critism was it took a while for the dirty tables at breakfast to be cleared & there was no salt & pepper on the tables. Reception staff very helpful.

Excellent hotel. Would recommend.
Excellent seafront hotel walking distance from Póvoa de Varzim with its many and varied restaurants. Buffet breakfast offered is varied and plentiful. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable large hotel
Very large hotel set up for both business and leisure travelers. Rooms very nice, recently renovated. Views from room spectacular. Service good. "Restaurant" enormous and buffet oriented - a la carte food was not great. We don't like dinner buffets so was a disappointing evening meal, but service and wine was great. Breakfast was good. Nice pool area outside (was too cold unfortunately to swim when we were there)

Great location and good hotel
Booked for myself and a colleague for a work trip, the hotel is good, room is spacious, clean and modern. The internet is very fast in the hotel, I was surprised because there were 3 bus loads of footballers in the hotel and still internet was good. From service point of view it was a little difficult, not many waiters spoke English, was hard to order, also the room was baking hot, it took 3 days and multiple people involved I tip they told me that centralized heating/cooling was still set to heating. I got the feeling it was impossible to stop the centralized heating even though I had stopped the fans, heating etc, only way was to sleep with the window wide open but there a fan on the roof that made a lot of noise ... but I préfères that then the heat of the room. This was really the only negative, mid season with a centralized system is hard but the room was awful hot and hard to bare. People in the hotel were friendly and I’m sure we will use this hotel again, it’s right on the beach and I’m hoping in summer/Winter they will have the right temp control.

Very good hotel and close to all amenities . Breakfast could have had a little more choice. You must get up early to put a towel down if you want a sunbed. Lots of locals did this early in the morning and then went it for the day and came back for a swim about 5!! Rooms are very well appointed

The hotel is right on the beach. The pool is beautiful however it was freezing cold and we couldn't swim in it and it was in July and hot out The indoor pool was nice and warm but you need to wear a shower cap and you have to pay to swim in it The breakfast was okay with a good selection of food The beds were not very comfortable The front staff are not always the friendliest

nice four day stay
Had a really nice stay, the wind was really strong on a couple of the days making it a little cold at the pool. I would avoid the evening buffet as the food was not good, however the breakfast was ok. Room was really clean and comfortable with a large bed.

The stay was just for one night before the visit to Porto. We decided to sleep near from the ocean. This hotel is great with it seaview. Really strange city - there was very few people. But a lot of buildings near of the coast. Hotel is not bad, bit there a some questions with the breakfast. I expect it with better meals. Staff are friendly and kind.

A nice hotel in a beautiful location.
There was a kettle in the room, something we really appreciate. The location of the hotel is wonderful and we loved to seat on the balcony and watch the beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. Breakfast was good.

The Location is Perfect, in a beautiful city (Povoa) close to the ocean and good facilities. But people who daily clean the room are not pro, as some times they forgot to refill soap and shampoos. Also, they do not give you sleepers as it is not included in the service. Try to get a room with sea view, it worth the extra charge.

Nice hotel but i wouldn't recommend the restaurant
we stayed at this hotel for a second time last year (2015) and the hotel condition was somewhat better following their reno. the hotel's in a great location on the beach and has a nice pool. One thing i would not recommend however is the restaurant. not only was the food below average, we found a finger nail in our soup!!!! so disgusting!

Will go again.
This was an "add on" to a package holiday there. We cannot fault the service, cleanliness etc. The rooms were overlooking the sea. Only downside was its towards end of the town and weather was not good so could not see as much as we would have liked.
