"A perfect 3 days of bragging fall colors, cool mornings with stunning sunrises, time for family conversations, and cranberries being harvested made this a 3 day respite to remember. The cabin heater worked quickly to take care of the chill, the showers were hot, and we had another fantastic time at Alderwood! Thank you for making it all possible."

"This property has plenty of room but still has a cabin feel to it. Our group was there to go fishing in different lakes but the trail that's well known is right there. We had two fishing boats on trailers being pulled by two trucks and there was plenty of room. The firepit has a grid over half of it so we cooked steaks on it. The house was clean and was a great value. It was everything we wanted. The pictures on the website don't do it justice."

"I would recommend Alderwood to anyone interested In the perfect Northwoods setting. The Brick House Was amazing. The boat docks couldn’t have been better. The team at Alderwood responded immediately To some questions we had. Absolutely loved it!"

"Everything was exactly as described & pictures don’t even do it justice. Stayed here for a girls weekend (4 of us). From the minute we pulled up to the “Lodge” cabin we fell in love with the place! So warm & inviting, perfect getaway. We each had our own bedroom which we all appreciated how comfy the beds were. Having 2 full baths was so great too! Every evening we made a fire in the fireplace! So relaxing & a nice way to end the day. Lots of space to spread out in this cabin, very clean & felt like home. Highly recommend & we look forward to returning in the future!!"

"We've stayed in each of the 3 red cabins plus the Brick House on and off over the last 35 years and Alderwood is better than ever. It still has all the charm of being up north and I still love the no TV's. But the kitchen is better equipped than it used to be, the showers are hot, and the beds are comfortable. We appreciate the firewood and the use of the kayaks and row boat as well. The on site store is adorable and well curated. I loved the lending library with its up to date selection. But the very best thing I love about Alderwood is how quiet it is. That quiet is a rare commodity that I truly appreciated. Thank you to Becca and staff for keeping the resort the lovely spot it is today."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home, waterfront and grounds worked out beautifully for all 3 generations. Spacious and well appointed interior and exterior, ample parking, plenty of dock for fishing and lounging, shallow water for kids to play and swim in and deep enough for fishing. The nearby park and miles of bike trail were used by everyone.Would definitely recommend."

"Cannot believe how awesome this house was! Beautifully decorated & cleanest property I've ever rented. The kitchen was stocked with everything that you could possibly need. The beds were soo comfortable. The location was perfect. The younger grandkids loved finding little frogs on the shore of the lake. We had smores by the fire pit a few nights, grilled out, and lounged with drinks by the lake. The host was very welcoming and always responded to questions quickly! Couldn't ask for a better host.Such a beautiful area. Haven't been here in years but glad we came back. Our adult kids (who came to this area for many years in a row when they were little) totally enjoyed it & showing their kids all that they used to do & places they went to.Was able to bring our dog who loved it too!"
