Staying in renovated castles always makes a difference in your stay as the architectural details are always amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine and cheese offered in the evening and the pianist playing during the weekends was a nice touch.

Excellent Services! A home away from home.
Upon arrival to Prague, One of my suitcase was on the wrong flight, and the other suitcase’s wheel was broken. Despite these problems, our hotel reception helped us to ensure my baggage claims were fixed hassle free: arrange my suitcase to be delivered to our hotel upon its arrival to prague, and a repairman to come and fix the other suitcase. Everything was fixed by afternoon and our stay thereafter was just as enjoyable. Thank You! You have made our trip in Prague memorable and enjoyable!

The decoration was gorgeous and our room was clean and beautiful.In addition, the food and service were superb!!! Finally,the hotel staff was extremely helpful.

Excellent place! Real boutique hotel feel, beautiful room and communal spaces Great location: on a quiet square but within walking distance to everything. Cheese and wine tasting is a real treat!

An amazing hotel! Our room felt like a bit of paradise. The staff were all warm and helpful. Can’t imagine how the experience could be improved. Treat yourself to something special and memorable by spending a few nights here. You will not be disappointed!

Best Hotel Experience for the Money
There is a Butler. That pretty much sums up the level of service. No request was denied to us. Private tour guide — done. Excellent custom tour of Prague AND Kontepiste Castle. Transfer from airport on 1 hour notice— done with professional driver in slick MB sedan. Breadfast was nice. Free wine/cheese social every day at 5. Front desk was professional and helpful. Reservations, ideas, everything we asked for, no questions or excuses, the Alchemyst did. Room was great, bed comfortable, excellent patio view. The hotel is across the street from Parliament, so neighborhood is super safe.

Stunning hotel set in a 15th century mansion
Beautiful boutique hotel with just 8 suites set in a 15th century mansion which felt like you were staying in a personal home. Was offered a glass of Champagne on arrival (and departure), breakfast offering was great and also since it was my birthday I also received a beautiful box of chocolate truffles. Staff very attentive and went over and above with service, very helpful with shopping tips and made all of my restaurant bookings on my behalf. Great location in a quiet location yet still within walking distance of the Charles Bridge. Highly recommend.

Romantic Stay and Location
We stayed at the Alchymist for our honeymoon and it was amazing! You have free access to the jacuzzi and sauna (as long as you schedule it), they provide an excellent breakfast (and you can choose from the menu for free as well) and a nightly hour of complementary wine and cheese, and you also have access to the amenities of their other property. Additionally, the staff was fantastic and helpful not only in terms of making us feel comfortable and at home within the hotel but also helped with navigating the city and providing advice whenever we requested it. All around, it was a great stay and perfect for a romantic getaway.

Fantastic Boutique Option Near Prague Castle
Great staff, unique hotel with charming rooms. As it is only an 8 room hotel the amenities are not as plentiful (i.e. There is a fitness center but is small and only accessible by a tiny elevator). However, the great breakfast and happy hour in addition to the unique charm make up for any shortcomings. The location is also nice as long as you don't mind a little walk. It is on a quiet street on the west side of the river close to Prague castle. Personally we enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle of the city center but if you are solely concerned on location and a 20 minute walk doesn't sound pleasant you may want to look at other options.

Perfect Location
Situated on the Palace side of the river, short walk to cafes, sights and restaurants. A quiet spot which was pefect to go back to after a full day of sightseeing. The staff were all fantastic and very helpful, made us feel so welcome. It was like stepping in to another era, a great boutique hotel.

Excellent stay, a very unique hotel with beautiful rooms. Staff is incredible and very helpful. The complementary wine and cheese is a lovely touch! And breakfast was incredible. Very convenient location as well, easy to walk to the old town but also nice to be in a quieter area at night.

Opulent hotel with the best staff
Simply the best hotel we could have stayed at in Prague. The staff were very attentive and extremely helpful. No task was beyond them, and little things like all the staff smiling and waving at us through the windows as we arrived and left just made us feel so much more at home. The rooms were beautiful and a lot of care and attention had gone into the restoration. The sauna and jacuzzi in the cellar was so relaxing and private! We will definitely be back!

Best honeymoon hotel in Prague
Very warm greeting once entered.Very helpful on what to see in Prague and will give you a printed out list and map. The decor makes you feel like royalty. George the butler is super friendly and will make sure you have a great stay. You must tell them you want to enjoy the Jacuzzi. They Will fill it with fresh water and bath oils and light candles in this awesome room for you to enjoy privately at no extra cost, it was fantastic. There is also at no extra charge a wine and cheese tasting but was more like a feast as to there was no limit just relax and maybe have some good conversation with other guest. There is only 8 rooms so the hotel feels mostly like it all to yourself. Breakfast was fantastic as well. Checkin and checkout was effortless you really cant go wrong and the price to me was well worth it especially when you count all the perks and freebies that most hotels charge for.

Dark first floor room next to check in, listening to people come and go. Loud clatter at 8am serves as a wake up call. Hotel website lists free parking as a benefit but this was not honored. Breakfast was good. Each time I asked the butler for help, it felt like I was asking for a favor. When it came time to go, the valet delivered my car 45 minutes late. Room has no sizable desk so if you need to write anything, you can do it laying on the bed. I woke up with a stiff neck from craning my head around.

Great attention, gorgeous view
We stayed three nights in this hotel for our anniversary. The attention provided by the staff was absolutely great. The hotel is small and quiet, yet 5 minute walk from the Charles bridge. We´ve stayed in a lot of boutique hotels and can say that this has been one of the best. We had a suite with balcony and castle view. Complimentary breakfast and wine tasting also great. Congratulations to the management. You are doing a great job.

Great boutique hotel.
The hotel has only 8 rooms. Ours was large and comfortable with access to a shard, balcony the beds were comfortable and bathroom large. The staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating. For a day trip, they made a lunch that could have fed six. They provided superb concierge assistance with restaraunts, transport and even an opera.

This is a charming old mansion in the heart of the mala stranna area. It has been completely updated to modern standards. There is a breakfast served in the communal breakfast area, and a wine and cheese hour from 5-6 each evening. It does not have a bar/restaurant, although several are close by. If you are accustomed to hotels like the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons, you will find this quite charming, but not quite at the same level.

If you are looking for something a little different I recommend this beautiful hotel. A definite five star experience in terms of presentation, staff, ambience, decor helpfulness and location. The hotel offers complimentary wine and cheese tasting and a chance to chat to fellow guests which is a really nice touch and you have your own butler on hand to assist with any requirements, We celebrated our two year anniversary here and my only regret is not booking an extra night or two. Breakfast is amazing too - I usually like to try staying new places but if I return to Prague I will have to book here again it's just too good
