breakfast was good. in the room, the bed was 2 singles pushed together, so their was a gap I noticed when I moved around. the bathtub/shower needs a high handle to hold onto to be safer

Not a bad stay for the price. The hotel is in a good, well-connected area, the 24-hour front desk is helpful, and the breakfast is decent. However, the hotel lacks facilities and the Wi-Fi was awful.

Good place to stay

Great place to stay in Prague. Very friendly and efficient staff. Even changed some out of date notes for me. Room very clean. Short walk from Pavlova tram and metro stop from which you can get everywhere. Quieter than city centre. The garden area is welcome also a great place to relax. Good breakfast too

The hotel was very clean, i dont think its worth the 4* rating but it was fine for what we needed - a clean room, comfy beds. Air conditioning worked a treat, breakfast was OK but nothing fancy.

The hotel is clean & confortable, with a great (buffet) breakfast. Unfortunately, our short stay was marred by groups of noisy children in some of the rooms near ours. And when I say noisy, I mean: running up and down the hallways shouting, and shouting and jumping on beds in their rooms, with nary an adult in sight. They were apparently in Prague for the Dance World Cup. I understand 'boisterous' at this age, but there's no excuse for unsupervised kids running and shouting in hallways late into the evening. Nonetheless, a good hotel, with good value for money, and well-placed (about a 3 minute walk from the Pavlova metro station, with several tram lines running there too).

Great Shower, Great Breakfast!

We landed late in Prague and needed somewhere to stop overnight before continuing our journey the next day, ideally a family room for 4 at a reasonable price and close to the train station would be ideal for us. Hotel Ambiance ticked all the boxes. The hotel arranged an airport transfer for us, so getting there from the airport was stress free, on arrival check in was open and straight forward. The room was basic but had everything we could want for a nights stay. In the morning we discovered the 2 most important things about a hotel… 1) The shower was amazing! Someone had clearly replaced it with a jet wash, high water pressure with lots of hot water to invigorate for the day ahead. 2) breakfast was phenomenal, decent selection of different foods in abundance, spread around the room so no crowding around a central point. It was clearly busy but didn’t feel like it, very well managed and decent strong coffee available on tap. Great hotel, worth a visit. Will remember for the future.

I liked that the property was just outside of the heavy touristy zone but just a 10-15 min walk to Wenceslas square. There were many restaurants and cafes close by as well as a subway station I.P Pavlova, and tram stop The area was relatively quiet and safe. I was on the 1st floor, very fortunately, but each floor just had a few rooms and the guests were quiet. When I went to breakfast in the morning I was surprised how many people were actually in that hotel. However the doors or walls were relatively thin. The staff were professional and there 24 hrs-- loved that. The room was efficient as well as bathroom-not too small. We were two that travelled. There was no iron but that seems to be commonly the case in Eastern Europe. I believe one was available upon request. Our room had no refrigerator or microwave either, but it wasn't a bother. We had AC unit in the room that we controlled, and we could open the windows if we wanted, yeah! The beds were comfortable and pillows were large and firm enough, not too much. I would def go back and stay there again for its convenient and safe location, and basic comfort of the rooms, and hall area, and the surrounding beautiful buildings. Also for the included breakfast. The breakfast was okay, not great, but def good enough. There were two types of eggs, if you didn't want the runny ones, fresh fruits daily, proscuitto, and other meats, cheeses, bread, pastries incl croissants, cereals, salads and beverages. It can satisfy all.
