i have visited prague a few times before so know the area reasonably well, the hotel is one street back from the river, there are a few restaurants and shops very close to the hotel, you are only a few minutes walk to the funicular railway which will take you to the petrin tower, the Charles bridge is about a 10-15 walk away, the trams run just out side the hotel which takes you to the castle, the hotel itself is really nice, i arrived about 11am but was able to get into the room straight away and was also able to stay 1 hour after check out, the room had a kitchen area which is hidden away behind some doors, the room was of a good size we had 2 single beds and also a couch there was a small table, the bathroom had a hairdrier and also liquid soap and shower gel, all the staff were really friendly, we had breakfast which consisted of a few hot dishes eggs and sausages, cold meats and cheese and a lot of pastries, the hotel is a good area to use as a base if you don't want to have all the hustle and bustle of the main town squares
