The property was located in the heart of Old Town which made site seeing just a few steps away. There is an abundance of cafe's, gift shops, restaurants, and pubs within a 5-minute walk. Their buffet breakfast was great with lots to choose from, The elevator is really small. It will fit 2 people or you and a suitcase. The rooms were ok with a double bed and two singles. My son stayed next door in a similar room with his wife and 4-year-old, except his room had a separate sitting area and a couch in the room. The small mini fridge is filled by their mini-bar items. The view from our 3rd floor room was to the busy courtyard with cafe's, restaurants, and a nice view of an old church building that looks spectacular at night. The a/c in either of our rooms was not working but the temperatures at night were cool enough to make it tolerable along with 2 fans. The bathroom was separate from the shower, which was nice, except the mirror was too high for my 5' wife to use, so she had to use the mirror in the entryway to get ready.

Lovely property. Very walkable. Nice to have a restaurant on site although plenty of other options within a 2-10 minute walk. Staff very helpful. Nice to have the option of an elevator if needed to haul luggage. Hotel very quiet. Overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommend if staying in the older part of Prague!

Perfect location!! Very short walk away to old town square, and walking distance to bus/tram station. Lovely hotel with a peaceful courtyard .. strongly suggest breakfast out in the courtyards. Breakfast was mixture of hot and cold food with variety of choices. I am vegetarian and there were plenty of delicious choices! Nice coffee (lungo) !! Our room was spacious with 2 double and a single, perfect fit family of 4 though the sofa can be used as an additional bed too. The staff was very attentive and helpful, always have smiles for their guests :) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, felt too short but definitely going back! Thank you for looking after us! PS got bus/tram/train, be useful to download the app PiD to book tickets, easy to use but be mindful there “valid from” time..

Firstly, the two Receptionists Eleshia and Irena at the Josephine Hotel in Prague were wonderful, superbly helpful and gave me "World Class" service. For example: they advised me on where and how to obtain Metro tickets, made reservations for me etc etc. They both spoke perfect english abd are a great credit to Czech Inns. Secondly, my complete stay at the Josephine Inn was superb including my room and breakfast. I highly recommend the Josephine Hotel.

My stay at Josephine Old Town Square Hotel in Prague was a mixed experience. The location is the big win here, right in the heart of Old Town Square with everything within easy walking distance, restaurants, shops, and the main sights all just steps away. The rooms felt dated though, more worn than I expected for the price point, and the bed was genuinely uncomfortable, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep during my stay. That is a significant downside for a hotel, since a decent bed is kind of the whole point. On the positive side, the staff were consistently helpful and pleasant throughout my stay, which went a long way toward smoothing over the room quality issues. They were responsive and easy to work with whenever I needed anything. Overall not a bad stay, and the central location alone makes it worth considering, but I would go in with realistic expectations about the room condition and mattress. Three stars, held back mainly by the tired decor and the uncomfortable bed.

The Josephine is a nice building in a beautiful location, but it badly needs upgrading. We were there during the recent heat wave, and our “air conditioned” room never got below 85F. The tiny A/C unit labored badly, augmented by a small table fan for a room for four people. If we slept with the windows closed we roasted; if we slept with them open we wrestled with the noise from the all-night party in the square. The lock on our door (one key per room) required a safecracker’s touch to open. The one-person elevator was out of order as often as it was operating. The hotel advertises laundry facilities but does not have them. We paid for breakfasts twice, but every morning the staff hassled us about it. I think if we came when the weather was nice, I might have found the shortcomings more charming. It is a nice locale, and the attached Italian restaurant is very good.

Spacious family room with 2 large beds. Air-conditioned rooms - essential in the summer heat. Toiletries in the room - soap, shampoo, separate conditioner, lotion which is not usual at many European hotels. Also have coffee and tea in the room as well as a bottle of wine and bottled water each day. In-room mini-fridge. Excellent location - just a 2-3 minute walk to the Old Town Square and many restaurants. In a busy area, but the room faced the courtyard, so it was quiet. Old property - needs an update, especially the bathroom, but it's clean and well-maintained.

Everything about our stay at the Josephine was amazing! From the moment we checked in to the minute we checked out we were impressed with not only the customer service but the beauty and charm of the hotel! Our room was huge, very clean and charming and with the most amazing view to the old town square! I cannot wait to come back and stay there again! ロケーションは最高でした！ どこへ行くにも歩いて15分前後で行けてとても良い場所でした。 しかしマラソン大会の日は人がとても多く、騒がしかったでした。 シャワーの水はけが悪く、使ったお湯が溜まる一方でした。 又、シャワーをするのに着替えるところがなく、通路で着替えるしかなく、不便でした。 トイレが故障してしまい、夜中トイレに行けないし、レストランのトイレも11時にら閉まるので、結構きつかったです。 スタッフの対応はとてもよく、朝食も美味しかったです。

Hand shower , room a lot smaller than advertised. Travelled with another couple whom had a large room. No shower gel, shampoo. Although check in staff were very friendly and helpful. There was two mature waitresses in evenings that were rude and aggressive and two evenings. In fact insisted we leave at 22:20 even though open till 23:00 and got very aggressive. Snatching glass out of hand shouting she has a family to go home too. If they just said they were closing early, wouldn’t have been a problem. No need for attitude. Following nights we ate and drank elsewhere.

This was the perfect location for my wife and my to visit Old Town Prague. This little square off the big square has its own little variety of night life, sip mulled wine by a table fire, go to an Irish Pub, partake in Absinthe, or enjoy a beer and serenity of this little square off the big Old Town Square. Literally the perfect location. We would highly recommend! The staff was great and the breakfast was amazing! Our room had a great view of the square and had plenty of space.
