Very far walk from check-in to the apartment. The stairs were extremely difficult for bringing up luggage. Very noisy crowd late at night below room because of “pub crawl.” Map to apartment was very faint, could hardly read it.

The location was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. There was a central check-in which was not 24 hours and the room we stayed in was not consistent with the Expedia description: there was a lift but no on-site parking. There were two bedrooms but one was also the kitchen. There was more than ample storage. The hob and TV were broken in the room although that did not affect us. It was clean but some features are getting old and the bedroom carpet in particular was near the end of its life. There was only one curtain in each room which made it possible to see in and impossible to cut out the light. The room was not obviously overlooked but this was not really suitable for family accommodation. Air-con was installed but you had to pay an additional 20 euros per night to get the control to turn it on - that was not mentioned on Expedia. In summary, the room was good but not great. The location was fantastic. I would recommend them with some caution.

The apartment was great, clean, plenty of room for us, good location. Our only complain is that getting inside to park is a bit difficult. The main door to get to the parking is very narrow, not easy to get in from already narrow street, which would be good to know, and very hard to open. It seems to get stuck. When we were leaving to get back to airport we thought we will miss the flight because we could not get the door open for a while. If you don't need to park, its a great place, we loved it!

Apartments are located in another block away from the address you’re given. Which is under construction. All scaffolded up, covered on one whole side. Workers there, main doors to building always kept opened, not just unlocked. Out apartment was lovely, so spacious, comfy, very well equipped. Couple streets back from Tyn church & square. Could walk everywhere.

Old world experience
The checkin desk is not located at the room location, neither is the garage if you need to park a car. We spent hours going in circles trying to check in, make it to a scheduled tour, get our luggage to our room and then park the car. And the room was on the fourth floor with no elevator. your luggage must be light and your legs in good shape. Next time I will know better and stay in a standard hotel chain.

The place was in an amazing location (steps from the square and walking distance to the castle), and it was huge! More than enough space for our family of 6. The place was clean, and more updated than I expected for a historic area. Reception was in a different location, but they clearly communicated this and it was only about a 12 minute walk. If anything, they are doing themselves a disservice by listing the reception address on the listing, as the place itself was in a much better spot! They were very friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was quick and easy.

Area was ok. Problem with booking was that specified 2 bedroom apartment but got a one room with double plus single bed. They said it was classified as two room apartment, so there, from their end all was ok. Also there was intense mouldy musty smell about the entire apartment, coming especially from the bathroom. Was told I could be in a different apartment after one day but was not given the address/location, except was told it would be "far" away from the one I was in. Recommend that when trying to book in Prague to check whether the apartment is at the location given. Also had specifically looked to book places with carparking option, which this one said it did and I tried to book this. But then was told they are an apartment rental not carparking business.

Good apartment for a family stay
I had booked this property for 4nights staying with my mum and sister. I had saw other reviews about their apartment being far away from the reception, however ours was luckly just down the street. While the property was really nice, it did not look anything like the apartment in the photos, it looked a lot older and less modern. For a 4night stay we only got one towel each, so it would’ve been nice to receive more. We also only got given 2toilet rolls and as no cleaner visited we had to go out and buy our own, along with washing up liquid. Overall, we all found the beds comfortable and the tv was great as you could watch Netflix, Hulu etc. One thing to note is you have to pay a 200 euro security deposit on arrival. I paid by card and it took about a week after leaving to get the money returned.

We arrived pretty late at night and was checked in by a very helpful and friendly man. When we arrived at our apartment we were very disappointed to realise it looked nothing like any of the pictures online and was not up to the same standard of any of the pictures. We reluctantly returned to the reception to share our concerns and asked if there was another apartment available - something that we never do. The man at the reception was apologetic however said that they have many apartments so it is not possible to show pictures of all the apartments. I understood this point but I explained that the pictures that are shown should show the general standard of all the apartments. Ours was very dated, some paint/wood was peeling from furniture and just didn’t live up to our expectations which came from the pictures we saw. It was agreed that we could move apartments in the morning and it would be phoned by the reception before 10. The next day we never received a phone call so went to the reception and the new receptionist was very rude and all she said was ‘I don’t understand your problem’ repeatedly. In the end we had no choice but to stay in the original apartment. We also took up the offer of our sheets and towels being changed half way through our stay which never happened which was also disappointing. However, the good points of the apartment was that it was in a central location, it was clean and I felt safe. If I am in Prague again I will look for different accommodation.

Was given the wrong apartment on first night but managed to get sorted next day. Location of the new apartment was fab - v close to the Old Town Square. The apartment was clean and had a safe which was good. Things to note is that there was no hand towels. Only one set of bath towels each so maybe bring some of your own. We also couldn’t find a remote for the AC so apartment was hot at times. However with the price and location of the apartment I would deffo recommend.

We had an attic room, freshly painted white but still had the old beams so it looked so cute. It was a 2 minute walk away from the old town square, everything is a short walk away around the old square we had an amazing time but it didnt kill our legs, only on the last day when we walked up to Prague castle which was incredible. The room was very clean and the reception staff were very helpful, only downside was that there was an odd smell near the boiler at times i think it was the drains or the pipes but it wasnt a great smell. Everything else was perfect, the beds were very comfy and the bathroon was very clean and well kept. We couldnt fault the apartment or Prague it was a great trip and we would definitely book with Old Town Apartments again. Anyone wondering what things to book beforehand, the medieval meal was amazing and the concentration camp tour was also such an experience we wont forget. Thank you for our lovely stay.

Perfect.
We had very big apartment for 3 people’s. It was very comfy and clean. The kitchen has all the things you can imagine for cooking . The location was perfect! Just 1 minute from old town square. The only bad thing was the it was 3rd floor without an alavatour. Thank you! We’ll definitely come back.

The property was beautiful, spacious, great facilities and location spot on. Couldn’t of stayed in a nicer place. 5* The one downfall if any would be the communication I had via email before are trip, I have disabilities and we requested a ground floor local apartment and asked about if hiring a scooter there would of been somewhere to store over night and charge. However as the feed back was less than helpful I didn’t make arrangements. But when we arrived they fully 100% gave us the perfect apartment and it would of allowed a scooter. I didn’t have a enough notice one there to hire this and therefore wasn’t able to do as much on my holiday.

We booked 3 apartments but one was facing the street and there were 2 night clubs near by and Friday night there was so much noise the person in that apartment could not sleep and the other 2 nights had to share one of the other apartments. When we told reception the person just made a note no apology. Check in was extremely slow. We arrived late afternoon and were given keys to our apartments and a map but it would have been helpful for someone to walk us to the apartments and show us how all the locks etc worked. Difficult to read a map in the dark.

Senior Old Town Apartments Stay August 2019
Great Location! Spacious! Clean! However, not good customer service. ACs in the rooms were not working. They did not take care of the issue even though notified on time. Asked $15 additional fees per ac per night, which was not included in their contract. They do not mention anything about the expensive parking in a nearby garage, cost me 45 euros for a day of parking. Customer service is really well below standard. The person at the front desk argued with me on the AC issue and asked me to leave. This is simply not acceptable when they were all paid to provide the service. Also, they ask for a deposit in Cash only during check-in, which they vary from person to person. When checking out they ask you to wait 15 minutes to check the apartment to give you your deposit back.

Our apartments were clean and well located in the Old Town, within walking distance to everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there is much street noise, especially at night, which made sleeping very difficult.

This apartment was very well located in the Old Town. The facilities were new and clean but the area is noisy at night. The very helpful staff provided us with fans etc but we were still kept awake at night by street noise

After check in, a 5-10 minute walk through the crowded town square, dragging luggage on uneven cobble stone, was not easy to do. Apartment has no AC and was hot and uncomfortable. Limited housekeeping needs better definition and it turns out to mean no soap, no shampoo, no tissue paper, trash pick up once in 3 days, fresh towel once in 3 days, and no change of linen for duration of rental.

Great Family Room in Center of Prague
Good location close to Old Town. Big 3 bedroom apartment for family and Have a Reception Office which is easy to check in. Tony provided excellent service and provided a fan because it was one of the hottest time in Europe hitting 40 degrees.

Upon our checkin we found we had been moved to a new property on the other side of town which was a further km walk through crowded streets with heavy bags. The apartment was 2 rooms , one with a bed in the lounge and one with a bed in the make shift kitchen. The Apartment was around the corner from an all night night-club so we were kept awake every night from 12-6am with shouting and fighting club goers, which was extremely inconvenient regarding the fact that I have two young children. Kitchen featured a sink in the corner of the room and a few appliances on a table in the room but plug in cords didn’t reach the power points easily, with no oven or stove top. The Wifi was sporadic, working on only rare occasions. The building was in major disrepair. The only nice thing is that upon checkout the receptionist was very helpful in helping us book transport.

A magical say.
Of course, being Europe, there's no air conditioning and we were there for two of the hottest days in Prague history but we were in room 12 and it had a back balcony and windows that allowed the evening air to flow in. The hotel we were in was an old residential apartment complex. It's location was wonderful, right between the Old Town Square and the Palladium. The kitchen was complete and there was a laundry machine. When we asked the staff for extra sheets, they were putting them on the bed before we could return to the room. I can't say every room would be as amazing as number 12 but it seems they will try.

The apartment was spacious and would sleep nine people easily. We used the washer. One thing we weren't aware of is that there is a 15 Euro/night/air conditioner charge for air conditioning. It was particularly hot there and we were pretty uncomfortable since we didn't want to pay the extra 30 Euros to cool our apartment. We got off to a rocky start when the driver dropped us off from the airport at midnight and there was no one at reception. After a quick phone call he came and checked us in. We were lucky that our apartment was around the corner from the check in. Staff speaks English well.

Around the corner from the reception. Situated in a residential area so lots of rules, however mostly about being a good neighbour. Massive apartment - could sleep 8 easily! Not really 3 bedrooms as such as there was 1 bed in the kitchen and 1 bed in the living area, with only 1 real seperate bedroom with 3 beds in it. Slight problem with hot water that handyman sorted quickly. Overall good apartment, would stay here again.

Our apartment wasn’t the address given but 10 minutes away. The address given is their check in/office. This wasn’t a huge problem for us, though we would have bought bus tickets from a different location the morning of check out, if we had known. We overheard one family complain they were put on the top floor but had no elevator, but our building did. They could improve the way they book you into a room because the rooms and buildings they put you in can vary. You should know those details before hand. The picture of the room we chose was different then the one we got but it was fine and was large, as was the bathroom. It even had a little roof top patio. Lots of stuff for kitchen (actual espresso machine, nespresso pod machine, panini press but no oven, no dish clothes so washing dishes was difficult). One other thing, the room had an ac unit but no remote. We phoned them and they told us it would be extra, there was some confusion I think because of translation and it ended up not being extra. They were very kind and dropped it off the next morning. Why not just leave it in the room?? Overall though, good value and location.

Bad experience checking in, long que which I had to do twice as room was not ready. Overall I spent over an hour queuing, stuck in a hot room with my 2 small children getting very bored was not how I imagined a start to my break. Once we arrived in the apartment it was perfect so shame about the check in experience.
