"Excellent parador in 400 year old monastery high above town. Plenty of parking, staff friendly and helpful, room large and well equipped. Restaurant was superb, great service and very high quality food. Not much to see in Monforte, but a drive through the Sil valley is stunning."

"This place is my favourite ever! Really 5* experience. Such a gorgeous place in a very beautiful Village. Bedrooms are so well set up. Every single space is so clean Service is completly amazing, so helpful and such a hard workers. The spa is a privilege, worm, clean, private and beautiful. "We had a beautiful stay at Pedro's villa and never tired of looking at the view from the balcony. The villa is well equipped and very comfortable, and having mosquito screens was very reassuring, and meant we could leave the windows open at night. Pedro is incredibly friendly in an unobtrusive way, and made several very helpful suggestions about places to eat/visit, as well as ordering us the most delicious empanada from the local bakery. And he was available for any questions we had. We enjoyed spending time relaxing at the villa, using the gorgeous pool, and also exploring the area, which is very picturesque. We would highly recommend staying here, there's so much to love."

"Stunning property. Very old Casa with recent modern renovations. Unbelievable host who made us an amazing dinner and breakfast. We are hiking the Camino de Santiago and it was our first very, very hot day. The cerveza's were super cold. The galician octopus served at dinner was so yummy. My husband told the host that he "couldn't have dreamed of a better meal." So thankful that we booked here!"
