"Clean room, lovely staff, stunning beach view, tasty breakfast, giant beds and aircon - what do you need more? The only small thing was that the pressure in the toilet was not top-notch, so we had to flush multiple times to get rid of a small piece of toilet paper. But this was a super minor „inconvenience“, which was masked by all the positive things we had there! Would definitely recommended and visit again! "

Cindy, the host, was very helpful and provided great advice on using the local buses and the best places to visit on the island.Great view from the balcony, The quiet sandy beach stretches over 2 kilometres to the east. The sea was warm and calm. Not many fish to see when snorkelling. Best local restaurant was Villas De Mer, a short walk along the beach or the road. Two shops nearby to buy food and drinks."

"We loved this hotel, which was recently refurbished. The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating and were able to make excellent vegetarian food available to us. The room was spacious with a wonderful terrace overlooking the ocean, which is just a few yards away. There is also a lovely pool. Despite being a horrible person I was completely unable to find fault. "

"The room was boiling hot and wouldn’t let us keep the AC on. Bed was terribly firm, felt like sleeping on a wood board. Ants got into all of our food and medicine. Neighbors were loud and you could hear them walking above and next door. WiFi/tv was not working. "

"I think the staff stole my cash. I had cash in my bag and when I got back to my room housekeeping had cleaned my room and all my cash was missing from my bag. It was there that morning but gone after they cleaned my room. So that made my stay unpleasant, and at first I thought everyone was super sweet. "

"We stayed at Islander Hotel for 5 nights. While check-in was pleasant, the overall experience was disappointing for the price. Cleanliness was poor — rooms were only cleaned every other day, and there were no housekeeping staff regularly present. The receptionist was friendly at first but largely unhelpful afterward. We weren’t informed that water supply stops during the night. While we understand the water scarcity in Seychelles, most hotels have water storage solutions — this one did not. There were also insects and reptiles in the villa, which made the stay uncomfortable. The restaurant had very limited variety and hardly any guests, so we often had to cook ourselves or travel far to find decent food. The lighting inside the villa was extremely dim, creating a gloomy and depressing atmosphere in the evenings. We didn’t feel especially welcome overall, and guest support seemed minimal. The beach shown in photos isn’t usable due to strong currents, so we had to travel daily to other beaches. The property has potential but is poorly managed. It feels like the owner is absent and the current team is disengaged. We definitely overpaid and wouldn’t recommend this place in its current state"
