The Gite La TITOUNE *** is located in a beautiful flowery property and is 7km from Sarlat. You will appreciate its comfort and the calm of the place. Being in the heart of the Périgord Noir, you can visit unmissable sites and places such as the villages of LA ROQUE GAGEAC, DOMME, BEYNAC, LES EYZIES, the castles of CASTELNAUD, MILANDES, FENELON, sites like LA ROQUE ST CHRISTOPHE, caves of LASCAUX (new international center of Parietal Art), Le BOURNAT then the gardens of MARQUEYSSAC, The gardens of EYRIGNAC and many other places. Nearby we will not forget the villages of COLLONGES LA ROUGE, ROCAMADOUR and the Gouffre de PADIRAC OR The caves of LACAVE. Finally various activities are offered in the department such as canoeing, hiking, fishing, etc. Reduced entry prices on some sites.
Gastronomy will not be forgotten with all around good restaurants and farmhouses

This pretty typical Périgord stone house for 2 people includes:
A dining room living room (with a click sofa), an open kitchen,, a bedroom with a 160 cm bed
 1 bathroom (shower, bidet, sink) with WC.

Outside 1 terrace with garden furniture and barbecue and 2 deckchairs
1 secure salt pool 9mX4m is available, and to be shared with the owners depending on the period. Parasol and deckchairs.

The Gite is beautiful and very clean and comfortable. Beautiful landscape. Helpful, friendly hosts.
Set in a lovely rural area yet close to many places of interest. Just driving the small country roads is a pleasant experience. I highly recommend it.

So peaceful
This is an excellent holiday home. It is located in quite a remote location yet in the centre of a superb touring region. The Dordogne river (with far more chateaux than you can visit) and Sarlat are both just 15 minutes away, The property owners (Francoise and Yanik) live in the adjacent property and show great concern that everything is fine for you - and the level of furnishing and fitting is perfectly adequate. The picture does not do justice to the flower garden which is a special feature of the property. At the back of the property are fields and rolling hills. You need to be aware there are no shops close, so bring everything with you. There is a medium sized freezer compartment above the fridge. There is nowhere to eat within walking distance but large number of options once you drive out.

Cadre idyllique pour se ressourcer et emplacement idéal pour visiter cette belle région. Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement et nous avons reçu de précieux conseils de visite. Le gîte est d'une propreté impeccable et décoré avec soin. Nous n'y avons manqué de rien. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine Des vacances vraiment parfaites

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub, empfehlenswerte Unterkunft
Empfehlenswertes freistehendes Ferienhaus (hinter dem Haus der Vermieter) mit gut ausgestatteter Wohnung und Küche, alles sehr gepflegt -nur die Stühle im Wohnzimmer sollten bei Gelegenheit erneuert werden. Ruhige Lage* im Grünen -ein wirklich toll angelegter und gepflegter, blühender Garten. Terrasse mit Blick zum Château de Sirey. Den schönen, erfrischenden Pool vor dem Haus der Vermieter hatten wir fast immer für uns alleine. Vielen Dank für die liebenswürdige Gastfreundschaft an die Vermieter Françoise und Yanik Fourquet-Ménigault. *Thema Ruhe: Ein kleines Manko bei uns im Juli: mehrere Campingplätze in ein paar Kilometern Entfernung bieten an manchen Abenden ein Unterhaltungsprogramm an –je nach Windrichtung hört man die Musik und die Ansagen auf der Terrasse, das ist dann halt so. Aber ansonsten Natur pur, sehr ländlich, ideal für Ruhesuchende. Die Lage von „La Titoune“ ist perfekt für Ausflüge im Perigord, an die Dordogne und an die Vézère, auch die Sehenswürdigkeiten der angrenzenden Departements Lot und Corrèze … lassen sich gut erreichen. Ganz toll ist die Nähe zu Sarlat-la-Canéda. Für einige Ausflugsziele erhält man Rabatt gegen Vorlage der entsprechenden Gutscheine der Vermieter. Wir haben unsere 2 Wochen genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Escapade en Dordogne
Nous avons trouvé ce très beau gîte typique de la vallée de la Dordogne. Bien situé au centre de tous les nombreux sites à découvrir. La semaine s'est déroulée au grès des visites des châteaux, jardins et musées dans des paysages magnifiques. Nous n'avons pas vu le temps passer et nous y reviendrons sans aucun doute très prochainement.
