"The hotel was lovely, both in expected and unexpected ways. The coffee bar in the morning was superb, although I do wish they provided tea bags or coffee in the rooms. I didn't enjoy paying $3 per tea bag. That aside, the rooms were clean, the bed was unbelievably comfortable, the tv was huge, and the bath robes were a great touch. Additionally, the water pressure was great, and the bathrooms were designed with a beautiful towel and plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The room design itself was both charming and relaxing. I've heard people complain about dim rooms, but to be honest, this hotel isn't meant to be a Holiday Inn, and it's meant to be a bit more austere than that. The dimmed lights provided a much more smoky and old timey atmosphere that successfully mimicked a true French hotel. It's just down the street from some great food and drinks. The only staffing complaint is from one person who was short with me for interrupting his video when I came down to get tea. I called on the phone ahead of time and was asked to come down, and he had a serious attitude when I told him so. He was really short with me for something that was pretty trivial (especially considering they already cost $3 each), but I can't let that detract from the overall experience considering the fact that it was a brief inconvenience and I do consider myself to be thick skinned. Overall, I really look forward to coming back here in the future, preferably for a longer stay. 5 stars"

"Great location. Loads of shopping and dining within walking distance. The TN aquarium is directly across the street. The property is clean and well-maintained. Breakfast and dinner options within the hotel. The pool is very small. Check and check-out were quick and easy. Parking is not connected to the hotel. "

"The staff were very polite and helpful during check in. The lobby was clean. The room is more spacious than the pictures make it look online. It was very clean and smelt nice! The shower was clean and had great water pressure! There are lots of food options close by. Would definitely stay here again!! "

"Honestly this was a great stay for a sports visit. Close to convention center and UTC. Easy parking lot. Spacious room with kitchenette. Breakfast included. Food city with Starbucks inside 0.2mi away. No complaints!"

"We were really impressed overall. The breakfast spread is really beyond any continental breakfast I have ever seen, and the evening "kick backs" were a game-changer for us! We could have a couple of (FREE!) cocktails while our small children ate dinner (chicken Alfredo one night, taco bar the next) and then head out for our adventures. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was comfortable. There was a stranger lurking outside and making folks uncomfortable, and they took care of that immediately. Plenty of parking, great gym area, indoor pool and hot tub (so the rain had no impact on our babies' swimming!). So many dinner and shopping options nearby! There was a spot on the floor in the corner of our room that was damp the entire time, but that is really the only negative aspect to share."
