- Le Sommet
We look forward to welcoming you to our holiday home with stunning views of the Morvan hills and surrounding nature. This newly built gîte offers all modern comforts. It features a bright living area with a contemporary open kitchen. Next to the living room is the bedroom with a comfortable box spring bed (180 x 200 cm) and an en-suite bathroom. From the gîte, you have access to a spacious terrace and a fenced garden overlooking the hills.
Bed linen is provided. Bath towels are not included, so please remember to bring your own!
The Morvan Regional Natural Park, where our village is located, is a preserved area of rolling hills, valleys, forests, and large lakes. Those seeking peace and quiet will find plenty of options here. A hiking trail starts right at the gîte, leading you through beautiful scenery and picturesque farms. You can also explore nearby Burgundy villages on foot or by bike, where friendly flea markets are regularly held.
Le Sommet is the perfect base for many activities. Go mountain biking on marked trails in the region or tackle winding roads on a road bike. In Saint-Honoré-les-Bains (5 km) and Moulins Engilbert (10 km), you will find several restaurants to enjoy a Burgundy meal and a good glass of wine. Burgundy also offers historic towns like Autun, Vézelay, Dijon, and Beaune, perfect for culture lovers.
