My husband and I, along with our 2 girls (ages 5 and 2) stayed in the Townhouse over Labor Day weekend and absolutely loved it. This was our first visit to Prescott (we are originally from Kansas and now reside in Phoenix). The neighborhood it is in is perfect for morning walks as it is in the Prescott historic district. This meant that the morning walk was full of beautiful views of amazing historic homes and tons of friendly people to wave to along the way. It is also a 5-10 minute walk to the Downtown area, which provided great entertainment for us........shopping, eating, art viewing and people watching. Everyone that we encountered was so friendly!
Now, more specifically, the Townhouse itself. There were 2 bedrooms, which was perfect for the 4 of us and gave us enough room to be comfortable. It was nice to not feel like we were constantly on top of one another. The living room provided enough seating and the large television was great for movie watching. We did have some trouble connecting to the Netflix service, but that likely could have been fixed just by a quick call to Larry (we were only there a short time and had plenty of other movies to watch that we had brought, so it was not a big deal to us). Larry and his wife, Deni, were both super friendly and even called after we left to make sure that everything went well. The home was spotless when we arrived and the kitchen was fairly well stocked for our needs. We did use the outdoor grill and there were no grilling tools in the home, but we were able to make due and borrow some things from the very kind couple staying in the Cottage. We certainly used the outdoor patio/eating area as often as we could! One of the other great bonuses is that there is a washer and dryer available for your use, so it would be perfect for an extended stay!
Overall, we were very happy with the Townhouse and it's owners. We will definitely go to them first when we plan our next Prescott trip!
