"Harbor View is a great place to stay that's right on the beach. Very clean and quiet. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They advertise a poolside bar, but we discovered it doesn't open until Memorial Day. Other than that we had a great stay. "

"The hotel itself is stellar, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and loved the modern decor. The grounds are lovely and the pool while we did not have time to use looked very inviting. They allow dogs and there was a nice area to take them to relieve themselves. Downside the restaurant onsite leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to service. The ladies working there looked unmotivated to work. Lots of people waiting around and they stood in the back chit chatting. My boyfriend went over to them and informed them politely that this was not okay. Maybe they hate working there who knows. Hotel manager maybe hire people that care. The other not so good thing was the firm alarms going off at 11:15pm and several times in the morning beginning at 7:15am. Front desk said it’s because people are smoking in their rooms. That’s not an acceptable response and frankly does not make sense. Would love to come back but those two issues alone would negate us coming back. "

"A quiet and beautiful place. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast and wine in the afternoon. Definitely stay here again. "

"The location is a 12/10! Walking distance to literally anything you need! Check in was super easy, they even let us check out late at no cost. The ONLY issue is this: since this is a no frills type of place, every “day worker” stays here and hangs out in the back parking lot chatting and having a beer in the evenings. People hanging out talking until 11pm. We stayed on a Thurs so maybe it’s just the weekends, but just people hanging out everywhere. It’s also dog friendly, so be aware lots of dogs on the property. All in all it was great for the price! "

"Very clean. Very friendly. Lots of nice touches like free happy hour wine and snacks as well as lavender sachets on each pillow with garden style seating all around the property. Room was more spacious than we expected. Room is dated, however it is very clean and well taken care of. Close to the ocean and state street. No complaints about this stay."

"Title: Significant Decline in Service and Lack of Professionalism ​We have stayed at this property several times in the past and always enjoyed our visits, which is why we chose to return. Unfortunately, our most recent stay was deeply disappointing due to a series of service failures and unprofessional conduct. ​The Valet Experience: Upon arrival, we received no assistance with offloading our vehicle. Worse, the valet team misplaced our keys for nearly 30 minutes. Throughout this ordeal, the staff remained unapologetic, dismissive, and entirely unprofessional. It was an incredibly frustrating start to our trip. ​Billing Issues: To make matters worse, we found that we were overcharged for our stay. When I approached management to resolve the discrepancy and requested an itemized receipt, my request was flatly refused. This lack of transparency regarding financial charges is unacceptable for any hospitality establishment. ​Final Verdict: While we previously valued this hotel, the combination of poor logistics, rude staff, and questionable billing practices has ensured that we will not be returning. I would advise future guests to double-check their statements and be prepared for a lack of basic courtesy from the service teams."
