Cabin is cute but outside is a bit misleading
We enjoyed the home, it was as advertised. The outside not exactly. There is a HUGE set of stairs leading to the fire pit and lakefront. The description and pictures don’t depict this and is misleading. The fire pit is in a wooded area, not open like the picture shows. Also right next door is a campground that isn’t mentioned anywhere.

Beautiful Up North Lake & Clean Cozy Cottage
We loved our stay in the cozy lake cottage. Everything was clean and well-stocked, including towels, toilet paper, dish soap, coffee filters (cone style), games and movies. We enjoyed the option to watch tv and play darts indoors when the mosquitos were too bad, but most of the time we were outside enjoying the lake. We stayed Monday - Thursday and pretty much had the lake to ourselves until Wednesday afternoon. We watched loons, osprey and eagles dive for fish while we fished off the dock. The kayaks and pedal boat were fun, and the bonfire area was also well-kept. The little lights on the new stairs from the cottage to the lake added ambiance and just the right amount of light so that one could navigate the stairs, but not be blinded by the lights when stargazing. There is a little convenience store and bait shop just down the road, ask there about where to get wood for the bonfire. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Fun, private cabin on lovely lake
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is clean and the owners provided everything needed. The decor is true Northern Wisconsin which we loved. The lake is beautiful and quiet and we spent almost the entire time down by the water. One thing to note, there was a strong musty smell when we first arrived. After opening all windows and keeping them open, we did not notice the smell anymore.

Great place
Cabin even better than in the photos! Amazing location! Only downside were the mosquitos, which of course is an issue anywhere in the northwoods in the summer

Great secluded cabin
If you are looking for a quiet home, this is the place. It is a wonderful 3 bedroom, 1 bath home tucked away in the woods. The house was very clean and we loved having the lake access and use of the kayaks. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect!
Great place to stay! We loved the areas ATV trails and spent a day at the porcupine mountians. It was a great time with family and the perfect place to stay. Saw a black bear on our drive and otters right off the dock, a Mom and 3 babies. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed.

Not the best place to stay for older people .
the floors in the cabin are uneven tripping hazards and the floor boards in the kitchen had one that had a sharp edge sticking up. We like the pictures of the camp fire ring and dock but the hill going down didn't have a safe way of walking down. My wife couldn't or dare to even try it. The main TV in the living room didn't have a remote tried contacting the people in charge and they just told us to try fix the problem ourself. Look around for the remote.. .We left a day early on our stay . Disappointed .... Wesley Autio.

Could not launch boat
The boat launch used to access the lake was closed for the year. This was very disappointing. I have no complaints about the property or stay. We were just unable to use the property as I intended.

Very large place and super clean!
The place is VERY clean and put together very nicely. In in my opinion the steps leading down to the water/dock seems further in real time. The distance is correct but it "seems" further. It was not fun to keep going up and down to retrieve things we may have forgotten to carry down with us. The fire-pit is down by the water as well..which is great (and pretty) but it would be nice if there were a small pit up on the property closer to the cabin as well so the need to walk up and down wouldn't be needed if you just wanted a small fire for ambiance. The place was VERY big and plenty of room for a bigger family and then some! We did fish off the dock for two days but unfortunately we had no luck. Not even a bite. What a bummer. The dog enjoyed the water as its pretty clean in the area near the waters edge and the dock. I do want to point out that inside the cabin there is a small lip on the floor going from the kitchen to the front door. Could be dangerous until you get used to the fact its there. The bathroom is really nice but on the small side. If your a bigger person it may be a tad squishy when using the loo. Another toilet area would be a great addition. Overall its a really nice cabin and if your looking for a place to just chill and get away from it all this does the job.

Excellent vacation!
We REALLY love this place. The property was clean, overlooked the lake with a nice couple steps down to the waterfront with clear water, super quiet lake and a HUGE yard. Our kid loved the space to run around. There’s a pedal boat and a solo kayak to use. We LOVED our stay here and will be back!
