Another Excellent Visit
This is our 2nd stay at this property, and we intend to come back again and again. It is a short drive from family so we enjoy staying here to have quiet time alone, but be able to visit them easily. The house is well equipped and a cozy get away to forget about the regular day to day.

Quick Repairs
The setting is lovely and the shoreline was perfect for both the older and the younger kids. The room layouts are rather bizarre, but we had beautiful weather and were out of doors most of the time. We had the repairmen there twice, once to replace the powder room faucet and then to replace the refrigerator - quick and efficient.

Family Vacay
We had a group of 13 for the week and the house worked perfectly. Bedrooms worked out well and were comfortable. We divided up bathrooms as needed to shower, etc. Kitchen was very well stocked with all the pans/dishes we needed. We ended up renting a couple boats for the week but also brought our own kayaks, plus used the kayaks at the cabin. (We were on the water a lot!) The lake is very clear and clean but this makes fishing VERY difficult - we struggled to find anything of any decent size but had fun trying. Cell service is pretty terrible to non-existent. We were unable to enjoy the fire pits at night because the second it started to get dark the mosquitoes were so thick you couldn’t stand to be outside. We made the best of it - just want others to be aware! We had storms come through Thursday night which took down multiple trees and power lines so we ended up having to cut our trip short by a day which was a bit of a bummer. (Cabin does not have a generator for backup) As a whole everyone had a great time - just wish we would have found the fish! We were excited to have a fish fry! Will have to get some insight if we stay again! Boat rental recommendations - Boulder Junction Marine (Carmen and team were AMAZING!). Ice cream - Ice Shanty in Boulder Junction (we needed help with an issue early in the week and had stopped in their parking lot and owner ended up helping us make contacts and phone calls - super nice people!)

Wonderful Family Getaway
Great private location for 2 families, the home slept 12 people comfortably. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the lake and the sand bottom lakefront was great for swimming. The home was clean and kitchen had everything we needed. We hope to return for another stay soon!

There’s alot of stairs to climb to get to the lake. If the weeds were cut on the path to the lake the mosquitoes could be less unbearable. The house was big enough as advertised and everyone enjoyed the week spent there.

Great Escape - Lots of Room - Great Connectivity
My wife and I spent a week here to visit our parents who live about 5 mins down the road, and had a wonderful, quiet stay. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, and our dog enjoyed herself looking out the window to watch out on the lake. The entire place was very clean when we arrived which was nice. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. Pots, Pans, etc... Place settings including plates, silverware, glasses etc... for a good number of people. Table space is generous, my wife was able to work many puzzles on a table for the entire week, while the Island in the kitchen was a nice setting for board games. There are TV's in both bedrooms on the main floor, and also in the living space. I didn't spend much time in the lower floor, but I believe I saw more down there as well. Plenty of sleeping and living areas for a larger group. For those who are tech-minded, the WiFi is very effective. I was getting 40-50mb all week. We brought an Apple TV with us so we were able to have music playing through the TV, and my Wife was able to do her Yoga. There are 2 grocery stores within 10 mins. So you can get supplies very easily. Take the notice in the listing seriously about requiring 4x4, especially in the Winter. The driveway is steep. Was not an issue for us, but you will be sorry if you arrive in a sedan. We are hopeful to return once or twice a year depending on the price point fluctuations.

SNOWMOBILERS BEWARE
SNOWMOBILERS BEWARE, of the contract VRBO and VACASA that requires a 30 day cancellation. Should the rare instance occur like it did this week where the trails are shut down know that this owner will not work with you on an alternate booking and VACASA will disappear and ignore your communications.

Excellent Winter Getaway!
This cabin was definitely a favorite of ours! We loved the privacy and the beautiful view of the snow covered lake! The cabin was big enough to fit 10 adults plus kids and the dogs comfortably! We had plenty of room in the large living space and loved the extra dining room and long table for meals and games! The bedrooms were very large and spacious and we appreciated having the queen beds downstairs! The home was very clean and well maintained and had everything we needed for a long winter weekend!

Loved the large open living, dining, and kitchen area. the two bedrooms upstairs bedrooms were great. The three bedrooms down stairs could use new mattresses and mirrors and luggage stands. Deck was great, furniture was wonderful, The view of the lake was beautful and the whole property was so peaceful.

Great Place, Great Stay
The home was clean, spacious, and beautiful. The lot is heavily wooded and it's very quiet. Our family was very comfortable here and we will likely return in the future. Only minor issue was that communication between the mgmt company and owners on a couple questions took a few days. Lake is clear and clean. Overall great experience.

Family Gathering for 50th Anniversary Celebration
Mixed impressions... The family gathering was wonderful; the lake was good for kids' water activities; the property was adequate, but not clean and not well maintained; general description was overly hyped and lacking sufficient details. Responses to inquiries were incorrect. Complaints about cleanliness, broken dishwasher, missing amenities, and such upon arrival were not addressed during stay.

Amazing Up North Vacation
What a beautiful house/property! It was perfect for our large group. We had varied ages of people: 4-month old, 2-year olds, 3-year old, 4-year old; ages 23 to 59. We had plenty of space, especially for cooking and eating. There were multiple tables which we've never had before and allowed us to spread out. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need; even a crockpot, tons of pots & pans, various utensils, dishes, etc. The bedrooms were spacious, and this has to be the cleanest property that we've ever rented. Nice wrap-around deck for coffee, breakfast in the mornings. There was a small sand area and shallow by the docks (room enough for our speedboat & pontoon) which allowed for all of us, including the little kids and dogs to play & swim. The garage with extra refrigerator/freezer and space was a bonus -- as was the firepit area. Loved the towns nearby and shopping, flea market. Well taken care of property!

Absolutely beautiful house and property
We stayed here on a sided by side trip. The house was absolutely amazing. It was so beautiful and comfortable. Extremely clean and had everything we needed. It was a little tight turning the trailers around but we made it work just fine. We will DEFINITELY stay at this property again and will definitely recommend it to friends. Thank you so much!!

Large, well appointed home in densely wooded area just down steps to the lake. Plenty of room and very nice place. We had a wonderful time. Would definitely suggest to others and return ourselves in the future.

Snowmobile trip to northern Wisconsin and the UP.
The property accommodated 9 adults with no problems. The kitchen, dining area, living room gave us space to gather, share stories, and eat. Snowmobile trail to Presque Isle was just down the road and easy to access. A perfect place for this group.

Beautiful Home on Secluded Section of Lynx Lake
This absolutely beautiful home was everything they described. It was perfect for our family weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better location. The home is nestled into a crook in the lake and has two neighbors, but both of them are far enough away that you don't even see their homes. The lake is very clear and we fished all of Saturday. The only thing I would say was missing is that this is the only time we have rented a home like this and not had any minor provisions available. Most homes come with a small amount of kitchen provisions and we weren't prepared to have nothing available. The only other concern would be that the master bedroom has a glass door that opens into the dining room. With only one shower on the first floor being in that room, we had to share and if some family are eating breakfast in the dining room, you had to be careful to not just walk out to get dressed. A real door would be better suited for that location! The home is immaculate and is highly recommended to anyone with a large family or friends who want to enjoy the lake life, but have a nice secluded location! The host answered my question prior to booking in a timely manner and his answer was extremely accurate! Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful home and we wish you all of the happiness in your cabin on the lake for years to come! Thank you for sharing your cabin with our family!

Snowmobile Trip
Perfect spot just a few hundred yards from the trail. House is large with plenty of room. Would have been nice to have more bedrooms upstairs than in the basement but it worked out fine. I would stay again.
