Top Presque Isle Hotel Reviews
Days Inn by Wyndham Hurley
10/10 Excellent
"I was going to book at a higher end hotel in Ironwood, but decided to take a chance on the Days Inn in Hurley to save a few dollars. Turned out, it was every bit as nice as the other hotels that would have cost me more. I was very pleased with how clean the rooms and the hotel in general were kept. The hallways were clean with no dirty floors and no odors, which is real important to me. The room was perfectly clean, again, fresh with no odors. The bathroom was clean and the shower tub drained perfectly with good warm water temp and pressure for the shower. The beds, while perhaps not a 10, were definitely an 8 and comfortable to sleep on. The room had a decent sized tv. Most surprising was the addition of an extra kitchen counter area which was really useful. The small sink, the counter, and a slightly larger refrigerator was even better than at most places. The freezer was an actual separated compartment, not just a drawer inside the refrigerator. The pool area was clean, and the hot tub was really welcome after a long day of hiking. The only downside was you need to remember to ask the desk for pool towels before you go in, and the pool heater was not working, although the water was not terribly cold. There is also a rinse off shower in the pool area which is really nice. Finally, the hot breakfast was a welcome surprise. I had read this hotel offered a continental breakfast, but there were actually eggs and sausage and hash browns each morning. Would def stay again."
