"Staff, room and overall service was very good and efficient "

"Great hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Small things make all the difference and the experience was consistent all through the hotel. From a personable arrival at reception, giving me all the relevant info (last orders, gym opening times etc), friendly gym staff and great customer service and meal in the restaurant. I forgot my tooth paste and the lovely lady at the desk (apologies didn’t get name) gave me a toothbrush and toothpaste. I also didn’t know how to find the gym and she walked me there. Really made me feel valued as a guest. So much so, I enquired about the cost of the conference room for the day as hold quarterly business meetings with a small uk team who stay over the night before and have a full day meeting. I’ll be putting this hotel forwards as a suggestion for a future meeting. I work in sales and so stay in a lot of hotels weekly, all over the Uk. This is the first time staying here and is already in my top 5 hotels. Particularly love the gym and pool facilities which is what often draws me to picking hotels. Thanks Marriot Preston team! Great job :)"

"Nothing bad to say about this hotel! We were warmly welcomed by Liz on reception who set up a great stay. Room was good, bed was comfortable and the breakfast set us up for the day."

"I only had a short stay as had to leave early, but what an exceptional property, well maintained, very clean, lots of amenities & felt secure. The only criticsim is if there are any guests who have accessibility issues, the description of each apartment should mention what floor it is & how many sets of stairs, maybe even provide a floor plan on their booking page, to help guests."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful and food was delicious. Room was very comfortable but they are all soon going to get a major upgrade as hotel has just been bought and a large sum of money is going to be spent on the hotel."
