"Nice house in a cosy setting. Well located. Charming local market in Beuzeville on tuesdays. Not so clean, in need of extra vacuum and wet cleaning. Certainly for a crawling baby."

There was no wifi all week, smaller gite washing machine not working. Shower fitting held up by cable ties. For the games room we had to buy a connector for the projector. No games machine,juke boxes broken. Swimming pool made the holiday but noone came to check chlorine levels"

However no information pack that explained how things worked and information on the local area eg markets and nearest Boulanger…..you cannot expect the host to go through everything…..he would have to be there full time! There was only one medium towel per person and one tea towel. The family of nine from 6 years old to 75 really enjoyed the week and would return. Antoine the host was always on call and very friendly and helpful."

Close to nature and local attractions such as Honfleur and Deauville, it'salso possible to walk down into Cormeilles for local amenities, at least for those fit enough for walk back uphill!"

"We were transferred to this hotel by Expedia when a problem occurred with our previous hotel in the local area. When we arrived at Les Manoirs, we were highly impressed by every aspect of the establishment. The staff were charming and professional. Our apartment was outstanding and spotless. The food in the restaurant was not cheap but it reflected the impressive quality and presentation of the meals. We swam, we played table tennis, we wandered around the grounds - everything was delightful. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We would like to return to Les Manoirs again some day. "Very nice and convenient stopover hotel. It may feel slightly tired at first glance, but rooms are practical and clean. Bathroom is small but well designed for the space. Water pressure in the shower is adequate, Front-desk service is excellent and swift; we arrived late in the evening with several suitcases, and we were immediately offered a ground floor room instead of our originally assigned room on a higher floor to accommodate us (without us even asking) which was extremely thoughtful. There is a wide parking area at the front of the hotel (shared with a restaurant next door) and the hotel is close to Bernay town centre which has plenty of food outlets and retail shops. We have rarely seen this level of service for the price of the room and can only encourage other travellers to use it."

"Easy walk from the train station. Elevator! Comfortable room and bed. The staff were super-friendly and accommodating. One of the receptionists changed my life by telling me how to get an inexpensive yeSim card so I’d have cellular service everywhere. (US travelers: Verizon service stinks in France.) Bonus: Discounts at some of the excellent nearby restaurants. On Saturdays the center of town, including the hotel, is inaccessible by car due to a lively street market."

"A lovely, family friendly holiday site. Very much set up with children in mind. The huge indoor playground was a favourite of my three year old and my older child loved the swimming pools - including the fast flowing water in one of the outdoor pools! We have stayed at several P&V sites across Normandy, this is definitely our favourite so far, the key difference was all of the extra facilities (including shop & restaurant) and activities! On one of the weekdays they held a kids party with bouncy castles, face painting and games which was really enjoyable! As my children aren’t french speakers we decided not to use the kids clubs but they looked very popular!! The only downside is that you do need to use the car if you plan to travel anywhere off site. "
