"Hotel was nice enough. Difficult to carry luggage in as there are stairs at the entrance and then more stairs to the check-in area. Didn’t see any ramps. Some minor issues with curtains not fully closing or blackout and amenities not properly stocked. Remote control was really sticky so decided not to use it. The stay was comfortable. Next to a hospital but I didn’t hear a lot of noise. Staff was nice. Witnessed the night clerk deal with two rude clients trying to check-in before me and she handled them very professionally. Honestly, it was a good option to stay at overnight when in Thunder Bay."

"Old building but room was apparently updated. Felt safe. Security on property. Not a bad night. Breakfast was included at the Hotels restaurant and was extremely good. Free parking on site. Worth the price."

"We had a great stay - the staff was super helpful and very friendly. They even personally brought a few items up to the room even though I would have gathered them downstairs myself - so very attentive. The room was clean, TV worked great, the AC was cool and not noisy, the pool looked fabulous, and lastly, the breakfast was just right. Good selection with clean dining area helpful attendant. The location was good also - a 5 minute walk to the Thunder Bay Auditorium. 5 stars - everything we needed with smiling faces."

"There was no water or water dispenser. They was a rail track just a few steps from the bedroom window that caused some disturbance at night when the train passed. Everything else was very good. Room was clean and bed was comfortable"

"This little house had everything we needed for our family stay. Very clean, cozy and close to many amenities. Liked the fact that it was a short walk to the harbour front. The host was also very responsive. Will definitely stay there again if we return to Thunder Bay."

"Bare bones CLEAN room at great location and price. Very close to lots of great restaurants, bars, shops and the harbor. Even a casino just down the block. Bring your streaming service (Netflix, prime etc) credentials. Nice TV but no basic channels provided that I found. Overnight Parking is about a square block away but very cheap (5.25 for 24 hours). Street parking right outside the entrance is free for the first 2 hours. So very helpful. I was worried about the street noise when I arrived. Every once and awhile you heard a group walk by having fun during the dinner / happy hour rush. But it quieted down by 9-10 and I was never woken in the middle of the night."
