Lakefront Cottage Near Sandbanks with Sunset View and Picton

Our wide lake-front cottage is privately owned in the gated Cherry Beach Resort. It is located right beside East Lake with a spectacular view of the water and sunset. Situated on the low, flat area of the peninsula, the lake deepens gradually from the shore, making it safe for children to play while enjoying the beautiful view. It is also a perfect location for the whole family to gather around the firepit at night, sharing s'mores, stories and laughter under the stars.

Our cottage is located in a quiet area of Cherry Beach Resort. Just a short walk away is the sandy beach, which can be seen from our cottage. At the end of the beach is the Welcome Centre, where you can use the heated swimming pool, splash pad, and multi-sport basketball court. You can also sign up to use their kayaks and stand-up paddle boards on an hourly basis. There is a coin laundry facility located beside the swimming pool, with a change room and washroom.

The cottage has a dock. You are welcome to use our own canoe, kayak and standup paddle board during your stay. Children tend to love fishing from the dock and adults tend to like canoeing to explore the lake. You may explore the lake anytime you wish.

All eight windows of our cottage have unobstructed views of the lake, as there are no cottages on the south side of the peninsula to block our view. You may feel like you live on an island!

Start with your calm morning day with a coffee in the large screened sunroom over looking the lake, or on the open deck overlooking both sides of the lake. You will see various types of water fowls flying over the lake, especially in the early morning and late evening. Your family can enjoy meals at the outdoor dining table, or in the screened sunroom if the weather is less than ideal. The BBQ grill is on the patio, next to the open deck. You can relax on the patio with Muskoka chairs and enjoy the lake view.

There is a large parking space for two large cars alongside the cottage. The Prince Edward County is vibrant. Only a short drive from the resort is the town of Picton, Sandbanks beaches, boutique shops, great restaurants, a drive-in theatre, and renowned wineries.

The cottage comes with central air conditioning and heating, and all modern convenience you need. It can be your home base while you are on vacation.

The cottage is for up to 6 guests, maximum 4 adults. It comes with the following sleeping facilities:
- The master bedroom has a queen bed
- The 2nd bedroom has a single-bed over a full-size bed
- The 3rd bedroom has a single-bed over a single-bed.
- The sunroom has 2 pull-out full-size sofa beds.
- The living room has 1 pull-out full-size sofa bed
All bedrooms have a lake view!

The cottage has high-speed WIFI and ethernet cable. Your family can watch Netflix, playing games and do your work while vacationing.

Your booking comes with a daily complimentary pass to the Sandbanks beaches during your stay. You need to make online reservations up to 5 days in advance, especially for weekends. Please put the Sandbanks pass on the kitchen counter when you leave. There is a $175 replacement fee if it is not returned.

The rental is all inclusive.

Upon arrival, please come to the Welcome Centre to pick up your keys and fobs for the gate access. The resort will charge you a $30/night +HST for accessing their resort facilities.
