Nordic Hideaway at Wellington on the Beach

This newly renovated, Nordic-style suite includes a waterfront view of the lake, a private beach and top of the line features.

Conveniently located on Wellington Main Street, you can walk to all the main attractions, including local shops, restaurants, cafes, galleries and more.

Perfect for couples and intimate travelers, this spot is a truly romantic and cozy retreat. There's no better place to celebrate a special occasion with a loved one.

This suite is open concept, with the living, dining and kitchen all in one space. The bedroom and bathroom are just off of the open concept so everything you need is within a few steps and all on one level.

Note: the beach is raised above the waterline on the shore, so the sand doesn’t reach the lake. The hot tub on site is available for your use and shared with our other guest unit.

Kayaks are available on the property along with paddles and life jackets. There is a perfect little private beach you can paddle to up the shoreline.

Discover the stunning beauty of Sandbanks Provincial Park and West Lake with our private pontoon boat tours. Our tours offer a unique and unforgettable way to experience the natural landscapes of the area.​ We offer 90 minute boat tours that will show you the key sights, or you can organize a custom tour for your group for 3 or 4 hours for up to 6 people. Your amount of time on the water is flexible, take advantage of the time you have to enjoy this amazing experience.

​Our boat is a Princecraft 18 foot pontoon boat that comfortably seats 6 passengers. Guests that book 4 nights or more are eligible to book a complimentary boat tour for 1 hour. Please be sure to inquire ahead. Tours must be booked in advance as they are open to the public. First come first served.

This lovely listing is as advertised with great communication from host. Situated in walking distance of beaches, restaurants and small stores in beautiful PEC. Would recommend for couples or even a solo stay as it was a nice, safe environment.

This is a wonderful spot and fantastic location for a weekend get away. The house was very clean, had all amenities needed and within walking distance to restaurants. Highly recommended!

The stay has amazing amenities and is very nicely renovated. The property is also kept very clean and is located close to the attractions around Wellington and Sandbanks.

Fall getaway

Went during pumpkin fest.. lovely location. Property was very clean - perfect for a couple hosts were great to suggest places to see and things to do. Would recommend if you are looking for a weekend getaway.

Incredible Property

A most enjoyable stay! This property was immaculately maintained, and our hosts were helpful and pleasant. With access to a bbq, hot tub, kayaks and a private beach, staying at this property was as much a part of the experience as anything else we planned for our trip. We ended up cancelling dinner reservations so that we could stay in and enjoy this property fully. I can’t wait to go back!!

Perfect Wellington getaway

Tranquil waterside haven

Lovely gardens on the water with privacy. Very walkable to Wellington beach and to village restaurants and shops. Easy location for exploring rest of the county. Loved our stay here.

Great small town getaway

My partner and i had a wonderful time staying here. Everything about the property and amenities was great and marcy took great care with us. We loved the location as we took the opportunity to walk out for dinner and drinks and enjoy the town and it was a lovely evening. Highly recommend

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

Lovely little spot in Wellington with all the conveniences of home. Clean and comfy. Great location to explore PEC. Enjoyed the water view, use of the kayaks and being close to everything in town.

We had an awesome time in PEC this summer. The property was exactly as stated, and even better! Location was excellent - we could walk to small shops/restaurants and to the public beach. Hosts were fantastic ... great communication and always available. And so flexible - we needed to reschedule our boat tour a couple times and they were super-accommodating. Make sure you book the boat ride from Dunes Boat Tours - well worth it. We booked for an evening tour and it was fabulous!Everything was great - perfect size for 2 people with everything you need. And you'll love Maila - the resident puppy! So friendly and energetic!Thanks Katrine and Eric! :)

Perfect rental for our getaway

My partner had an amazing weekend in Wellington. Our only (very small) complaint would be that we didn’t realize how close in proximity we would be to the owners. That being said, all of our interactions with them were very positive and even helpful to give us tips on our kayaking adventure. The room itself was very neat and had everything we needed. And the location was very convenient for us to go out for dinner, ice cream, and a walk along the beach.

Peaceful

Great location for us to enjoy the PEC area. The unit was very clean and was well equipped with everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine sitting on the deck enjoying the water views. Hubby and I had no issue with noise or privacy from owners adjacent unit - Very welcoming and friendly . Marcy was awesome providing information on the area and very responsive to any questions. Really enjoyed our week here - so relaxing .

Great get-away spot

We totally enjoyed our stay in Wellington. We love to hike, bike and paddle and all three were there in abundance. Location is great-- The house is right on the water and walking distance to Wellington Beach and downtown. The Millennium Trail is right up the road. Wineries everywhere. The rental has everything you would want-- state of the art kitchen, nice bathroom and bedroom and a lovely porch. The kayaks were very nice and super convenient. The owners were lovely; we especially liked meeting May,

Wonderful place to stay

Marcy has an absolutely wonderful property for your stay while visiting Prince Edward County. The accommodations are top notch. Everything is perfect in this wonderful unit. Marcy had not missed anything when designing and equipping this property. The outdoor amenities are great as well. We enjoyed relaxing on property every day that we stayed. Your host here is super helpful and friendly. Lots of great suggestions for activities and dining in the area. All the minor details were well thought out and the unit 100% perfect. The shower is awesome as well. Don’t miss going on a pontoon tour with Marcy and her husband as it allows you to see the Sandbanks from a boat which is great if it is your first time in the area. We would definitely stay at Marcy’s property again in the future. Highly recommended - 5 star.
