"Excellent central location. Next door to Kmart & walking distance to pubs & rsl. Mattress & pillow were extremely hard. Depends what you prefer."

"The Apartment was actually a nice spacious unit. Large bathroom with Spa and washer and dryer facilities. Shower screen needs the limestone residue cleaned. The beds were good, extra pillows and blankets stored in the wardrobe was appreciated. Clean kitchen and with full facilities. Ceiling fan in main bedroom overdue to clean the fan blades. Power overloaded and lost power in the evening, office open on Saturdays until 7pm noted in the booklet, office closed at 6.50pm when requested assistance about the power outage. Staff member requested through intercom how to put the power back on, but that should not be the customer's responsibility. Customer service I would rate one star."

"Our room at the Presidential was far beyond our expectations. The room was spacious and very clean, the bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is next door to one of the best deli's, butcher, laundromat, hair dresser and Chemist King. Just past this is the Western Tavern. We would stay here again if wanting a bed for the night in Mt Gambier."

"We stayed at Kelpie Cottage for 3. Iggy with our 2 dogs & found the location, attention to detail for our dogs, very secure fence yard, treats, furniture covers, bowls, bedding, etc were fantastic even though we did bring all our own anyway. We loved our stay there & it was such a lovely country atmosphere, roomy inside, beds were comfy, split system great, & a fridge packed with lots of goodies, wine, choccies, fresh farm eggs from their own chooks, bread, butter, jams, coffee, etc. Would highly recommend if you have dogs to give them a visit & it’s location to Mt Gambiers lakes was great."
