The breakfast is made fresh when you get to the dining area and incorporates traditional cuisine of Cuenca. The area around the hotel is quiet and safe, and is walkable to other locations. "

"I like to walk and it was a little out of the way for Calle Larga or Park Calderón, but I did get to check out the little plaza near by that had a great set of restaurants and a museum of modern art. I did walk around a lot and it did not bother me much, however some people might just take a taxi to other places. "

The only inconvenience was not being able to go out early for church service as the hotel was closed until 7.30am. A Comfortable stay in beautiful city that Cuenca turned out to be. "
