I like the place coz it’s walking distance to the metro and center but it’s not a hotel. There’s no reception. It’s an apartment. Not 24 hour . The main door is locked . I came to the place around 2 am good thing there’s a guy who came out and I was able to get in the building . Waited again. Somebody came down and told me the person in charge is in the 3rd floor. . I was gonna leave and find a real hotel. But tried to knock at the door so loud finally a guy came out awaken by my banging at the door . It’s crazy . Next time you have to check clearly the place you are staying .

Mi experiencia en el Hostal La Fontana fue excelente. Desde la recepción pude notar lo limpio, organizado y bien cuidado que estaba todo; incluso el área común olía muy fresco. La habitación también olía muy limpia: las sábanas, la almohada y toda la ropa de cama estaban impecables.
La ubicación del hostal es perfecta. Está en un punto ideal dentro de Madrid, lo que nos permitió llegar caminando a muchísimos lugares sin problema. Además, tanto la recepcionista como el recepcionista fueron muy amables y atentos durante toda la estancia.
En resumen, una experiencia excelente. Definitivamente lo recomendaría y volvería a quedarme aquí.
