Beautiful Views Of Prineville Reservoir

From the moment you round the first curve and see the water of Prineville Reservoir to the moment you round the final curve and see the expansive windows and wrap around deck to finally walking through the front door of the Juniper Ridge Retreat, you know you just started your memory making vacation in this really cool, well equipped, and tastefully decorated mountain chalet overlooking the Prineville Reservoir. This home will sleep 10 adults with Master Bedroom king bed, 2nd Bedroom king bed, 3rd bedroom 2 sets of bunk beds and trundle bed, Loft area Sleeper sofa. There is a single mattress and a single fold out bed but not listed as adult sleeping beds/areas. Home features a well stocked kitchen, extra coffee station downstairs, air hockey table, basketball hoop game, stereo system, dish network, internet, TV, TV/DVD players in Master, 2nd Bedroom, and Loft area. The home is wired with speakers in the loft, great room, and outdoor deck area. There are lake/mountain views from almost every window in the home. The wrap around deck features a propane fire pit, a patio tabl ,BBQ, and two loungers. There is also a set of binoculars to catch a closer view of the deer, bald eagles, and other numerous wildlife. There is a cozy 6-7 person hot tub and a wood burning fire pit off the downstairs patio. These are the best skies for stargazing, and there is a star party every year at nearby Prineville State Park. The quiet crisp Juniper scented air is absolutely soul restoring! The views of the lake and surrounding mountains are captivating. The night sky is clearer and deeper and feels like you are inside the universe. There is definitely something special about this area, and the Juniper Ridge Retreat makes you feel right at home. Less than half a mile down the road is Jasper Point State Park Boat Launch with the marina and store with boat rentals and more a little further beyond that. When you're not enjoying the reservoir or hiking, nearby historic Prineville has some fun shops, great eats, and friendly folk everywhere you go. Wonderful Home, Beautiful View

This is our third stay at this home. It is a beautiful home that is well stocked with everything you would need. It is very quiet and peaceful and close to boat ramps.

Well stocked, very clean, lovely home!

Stayed Thanksgiving weekend and had a great time! Loved that the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc… football fans weren’t happy about having to trek upstairs to watch the games , but it turned out fine.

Beautiful home

This is a beautiful home that works wonderful for a group of 10 friends. Great entertaining area, kitchen, dining and deck space. Very clean. Would recommend it to anyone. We were very happy with our weekend in Prineville and Amanda was very helpful

Wonderful getaway

We live in south-western Oregon and met our western Idaho family in the middle for an after Christmas vacation. All 12 of us (6 adults and 6 kids under the age of ten) all fit perfectly. Kitchen is well stocked (the dishes are exactly like ours so we felt right at home). Comfy beds and couches. Lovely views all around. Great host. Thanks so much!

Family Reunion

House wad awesome very comfortable and clean. Hot tub not so good. Dirty with lots of mold around every knob, jet, under the pillow. We sat in it but the longer we were in it the more mold we found.

Bachelorette Weekend

Perfect for our girl’s weekend celebrating the bride to be. Plenty of space and very relaxing atmosphere! Close enough to town but also peaceful with great views. Highly recommend and will be back.

Another great stay!

We've been going to this location for many years and have stayed at 3 different locations in the area. We started coming to this house the last 3 years and have loved it! My family has grown over the years and there's plenty of room for everyone. Communication with the owner has always been fantastic. Super nice, responsive and friendly. I'm sure we'll be coming back!

Great Getaway for Families

We stayed at this home with four families for an extended weekend of water play, outdoor adventures, and fun. The house was the perfect setup for our group, well stocked, and comfortable for everyone. The kids especially loved the air hockey table, and three adults spent hours on the back deck. Great spot!

Great for a stay at prineville reservoir

Big clean and fun. Lots of nice beds and baths are great. Kitchen had everything. Great areas to hang out. There’s a water shortage this year that we knew about in advance so be aware of that. Clean hot tub and towels ready. Cute decor all over.

Wonderful family time in the desert. Sun, water, fun.

Just like home but better. Clean, well maintained with modern furnishings and amenities. You get so much more than coffee and towels. Better than any hotel. -We immensely enjoyed morning coffee and chats sitting around the outdoor gas fire-table on the deck while enjoying the view of the water and the wisps of clouds that swept across the sky. The view from the indoors was just as nice because of that wall of windows! Absolute best dark sky for star gazing! —You can’t readily walk to the water, but hop in your car and you’re there in just a few minutes. We played in the water and spent time fishing—no fish tale a 20 inch trout!— We loved all the extras, too many to mention. I definitely recommend staying here and can’t wait to return some day. It is a great place to truly play and relax.

Breathtaking views !

There were a couple of small issues that come from normal wear and tear on a rental property but overall it was pretty clean and the views were breathtaking! There was more than enough room for all of us and privacy too.... Lots of garbage cans as well as overflow garbage cans and we did use them because it was Christmas! Lots of parking and easy to follow directions to get there. Check in was a breeze and the owner was available immediately with very fast responses for any questions we had. The only issue was I wish that there was better Internet service, being that there’s no cell service. Lots of dishes for cooking and baking many holiday treats. A wonderful home and the price was right.

So, so nice. Clean and well equipped in a very quiet area. The closest neighbors are a ways away. It was cold while we were here and the house was oh-so-cozy.

Very quiet this time of year. Just what we needed. Lots of cooking pots pans and gadgets!!! The only drawback is very limited internet connection. That may be more of the location than the house.

Wonderful place for family and friends

We had a great long weekend of boating on the reservoir. House is in a nice hilly area with great views for our morning walks. Lots of space with all three floors. Great to have the master on the main floor. Large kitchen table to seat everyone for meals and night time games. Home is very clean and organized! Plenty of towels, sheets and blankets. Will definitely stay again.

Prineville family fun

Great house , internet didn't work well. Maybe that was a blessing in disguise. Hard to pull the boat into parking area in front of house. 1 tree in particular was in the way. Overall a great place to stay and close to the lake. Views were fantastic!!
