Highlights of this idyllic escape include a well-appointed living room, a harbor-view sunroom with cozy wicker rockers, four flat-screen TVs, and a spacious balcony with sweeping ocean views. With a prime location at the doorstep to Acadia National Park (45 min drive away), delight in serene hikes or adventurous bike rides. Head to nearby Winter Harbor for a selection of ocean tours or to catch a ferry to Bar Harbor.

LIVING AREA Unwind into vacation mode on the sofa and love seat in the living room. In the evening, choose from a selection of books and board games or settle in for favorite shows around the 50” flat-screen TV with satellite cable.

KITCHEN &DINING Prepare fresh meals in the kitchen, equipped with both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker and a full suite of helpful appliances. When it’s time to eat, gather around the dining table with seating for six.

BEDROOMS &; BATHS This two-story FULLY AIR CONDITIONED home sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms. Find comfort in the master bedroom, complete with a stately king bed and a 47” flat-screen TV. Sleep soundly in the second bedroom, furnished with two twin beds and a 32” flat-screen TV. The third bedroom is outfitted with a queen bed and a 32” flat-screen TV. The first bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination, while the second bathroom comes with a walk-in shower

OUTDOOR AREAS Watch the lobster boats head out for the day from the sunroom, outfitted with five cushioned rockers. Cook burgers on the charcoal grill and sip morning coffee amidst the fresh coastal air on the spacious balcony.

At night, look across the harbor to the iconic Prospect Harbor Lighthouse, (you have an unobstructed view) under a starry sky.

Great Spot - Beautiful scenery

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was perfect for our needs, check in and check out were effortless! Loved the added touch of some essentials - shampoo and conditioner, a fresh sponge and dish soap! I could look at that view all day - simply gorgeous spot!

Perfect house and location for family

We stayed in this adorable and immaculately kept house that was right on the water. Coffee, sunrise, and fishing boats started our mornings. On our first day, we drove to Winter Harbor and took the ferry to Bar Harbor for the day. On our second day, we drove an hour to Acadia to see Cadillac Mtn and other sights. It was a perfect out-of-the-way Maine stay for all of us.

Arrived late at night and this was easy to find and access was easy. Very clean and gift bags were great and useful. Could use a bigger coffee pot ( with two cup pot we had to make a lot !) great place to see the sun rise and nice neighbors

Great Location and Easy to Find

We had a great time in Maine, and while we did not spend much time in the rental (mostly just sleeping) what we did was great. My favorite thing about the rental is how easy it was to find. It is well located on the main road for the area, and the color scheme stands out so it is almost impossible to miss. This made coordinating with other folks super easy.

An Excellent Week+ At Lobster Cottage

Beautiful little cottage was the perfect size for the 5 of us. Appreciated the new appliances and mini-split air conditioning units. Water pressure was amazing! And that cozy front porch to watch the lobster boats come and go, well it couldn't be beat. Just a note: maybe make future guests aware that the beds are VERY soft, just so they know. And maybe add a picture of the stairway? Thanks again for a great stay!

Quiet cottage near the water with an excellent view

Really enjoyed our stay at lobster house. It is about an hour's drive from Bar harbor, but it was really quiet and very close to the water. You get beautiful views of the night sky and sunrises. The host had set up cute little packages of bath products, laundry and dishwasher products. There are TVs in every room. We enjoyed our stay here. It can be a bit of a drive to bar harbor, but there are other beautiful views points near lobster cottage like Schoodic Point and Ravens nest.

The view was my favorite part! I would love to stay in the summer when I can sit on either porch or the upper deck and watch the sunrise/set and how the colors on the bay change throughout the day. It is a beautifully maintained home—nicely appointed and decorated. The king mattress is very comfortable! Plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels. The water pressure is amazing. Lots of TVs for those who need one. The wifi was great. It's an excellent spot for a family or girls’ getaway. Great communication. We would return for sure!

Easy to find, cute, loved the view. It was a little deceiving… looks like it’s right on the water but actually it’s across the street. It said 8 miles from Acadia National Park but we actually had to drive 1 hour to get there. Towels were stained and banaster was broken. We enjoyed our stay and would have liked to have had more time there.

The house was great, only downside is that the stairs are VERY steep and the upstairs banister felt short. We worked it out but with the kids going up and down a lot, and my 74 year old mother as well, I just a little nervous about it. Everything else was great and I would rent again!

We couldn't ask for a more perfect vacation! Everything you could need for your vacation - the kitchen was well stocked, washer /dryer and we especially appreciated the cute boxes of bath products! The management was very quick to respond when we were unable to figure out the internet and all was resolved quickly. If we would have had more time we would have stayed longer just to enjoy the cottage and its location. We traveled to Acadia all three days of our stay, a couple of our group took the ferry from Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor which they really enjoyed. If you're looking for a quiet cottage with a water view away from the populated areas around Bar Harbor then I highly recommend Lobster Cottage.
