Beautiful, quiet home down a wooded cove on the lake. Very clean and homey vibes. Favorite spot was sitting on the deck, watching the birds.

Awesome home

Great location, far but not too far from any towns or cities, which is exactly what we were looking for. Kids loves the little sand area by the water and kayaks were included with the rental! Home lay out was perfect for our family, my wife loved the shower in the master bedroom. Overall perfect for our family and will definitely book again.

Peaceful, clean

Our family of 8 enjoyed our first visit to this area staying in this clean, well-stocked home. The deck is a nice place to enjoy the peaceful woods and lake view. The fishing and kayaking were great. It is a distance to some conveniences, but we are used to city life and were there to enjoy a slower pace and this place fit the bill. Very relaxing, definitely no swimming, but lots of wildlife to see and space for outdoor activities.

Army Graduation

We went to attend my son’s ARMY graduation and we stayed at this property. We haven’t been to a place so peaceful in a long time. The house was great. Easy check in and everything was like it was posted. We would really recommend this place. And also make time to check out Na’cho Margarita restaurant. Thanks for everything.

Wonderful home. Close to some great parks and the water. Only downside was private sand area and water in the cove. The cove in the picture is much clearer than the what was actually available. There was too much grass because of Summer growth.

The property was as shown. It was spacious and the kitchen was good with newer appliances. It was simple to communicate with property owner who was responsive and accommodating to our needs. The area is about 10 to 20 minutes from grocery shopping but we were aware of that ahead of time. Good spot to chill!

Family getaway

I rented the house to stay at while in town visiting my parents and sister. My parents and sister (and her dog) came and went as their schedule allowed the week I was there (with my dog). The house was spacious. I liked that the master bedroom and master bath was located on one side of the house and the the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms located on the other as I am a very early riser and like to get ready first thing and my parents and sister are late risers and like to get ready later in the day. I stayed in the master and didn't disturb them with my early morning routine. The kitchen was well appointed. Master bed was hard, so bring a topper if you don't like that. The living room had a wall of windows and a glass door. The weather was such that we kept the door open and let the dogs go in and out on the porch, sunbathing. The fall trees were beautiful. The house in on a finger of Lake Murray, and the water was down when we were there - nothing the owner can control. But when sitting on the couch or porch, all you see are the beautiful trees anyways. You don't see the water unless you are leaning on the porch railing or on the ground outside, so you're not missing out. The neighborhood was quite and fine for walking dogs. The grocery stores are 25 min away, but there are plenty of store choices. We ate at the recommended pizza place and it was excellent. We also ate at a local Greek place, and it was also excellent. We used the grill on the deck one night.

Secluded and quiet

This property is perfect for a quiet vacation to get away from the hustle and bustle. The home is perfectly set up with an outside deck that’s massive. It overlooks the lake, and the scenery is beautiful.

My visit was relaxing and enjoyable. Clean and spacious home. For future renters, As a solo female I felt very safe during my stay. The cove was calming.
