Sea La Vie - Beachside 1 Bedroom Unit #5

  • Located in a secluded Beachside property, 500 ft from Long Bay Beach, and 5-minutes drive from Grace Bay Resorts and shops, this spacious 650 sqft private suite, with a livingroom plus kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom, and private patio, is located on the ground floor, roughly 30 yards from the pool, no pool view. it can accommodate up to 4 guests, with a queen size bed, and a queen size sofa bed.

    A few minutes stroll through a beautiful sandy walk path, right next to the property, takes you straight to the beach, equipped with kayak and stand-up-paddle board. Portable beach chairs and shades are provided in a storage in the rear parking area.

    There is a 4-bdr, a 2-bdr, three 1-bdr, and a Studio unit located on this gated property, that share the large common pool.

    We highly recommend a rental car during your stay, from several car rental companies located at, or near the airport.

    The final cost includes an added 27% fee applied to the nightly rate, consisting of 12% local hospitality tax, and a15% host fee.

The property was in a quiet neighborhood, clean and nice, had everything we needed, safe. Long Bay beach across the street was beautiful and quiet. The beds were comfortable - super important. Grace bay was about 8 minutes away. We loved it here.

Loved the place. My kids slept ok the sofa bed that was very conformtable. Walking distance to the beach which was great. Paddleboards and kayak were avaialble for us directly at the beach. Lots of embrellas and chairs Available at the complexe. I recommand this place.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home in Turks and Caicos! The house is spacious, modern, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Everything was well-maintained, making us feel right at home.Check-in and check-out were seamless, making the whole experience even more convenient. Our host was very friendly and always quick to respond to any questions we had via Vrbo messages. Great place to stay!

We found this property to meet and exceed our expectations. I would recommend this villa as a great getaway place on the island. It was a comfortable,clean, safe and private location. We ate in a lot and had almost all of the kitchen tools needed. Comfy sofas and dining room chairs. It was very quiet and we never heard our neighbors. A small cooler, beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella were available for use. A gem!

Host with the Most!!

Majid was the best host ever!! He was so helpful. We had car trouble when we first arrived and he helped us get a new battery for the car. He is also around quite a bit to facilitate kite launches on the beach. Really great host and great stay. The accommodations were nice and just as described. Great location if you like kiting or just quiet evening beach walks.

Majid is responsive and welcoming. His properties at Sea La Vie are clean and comfortable. Although Long Bay Beach isnt a busy beach its great to have a nice quiet beach nearby. As he recommends in his description, you'll need to rent a car unless you take cabs which i hear can be expensive if your trying to get around to the more touristy areas.

Absolutely perfect

If you are looking for a place to stay in Turks & Caicos, look no further. This place has everything you need and more. We stayed six nights and couldn’t have been happier. The property is very clean and maintained in top-notch condition. The location is perfect. And, it’s so quiet. The condo is close to the beach and just a short drive to Grace Bay. There are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas to accommodate everyone who stays. We stay at a lot of VRBOs and this one has definitely been one of our favorites.

Great location

This condo was in a great place, off the beaten path. Nice quite and private. Only a 7 minute car ride to grace bay area, 11 minute car ride to golf course. Condo was clean and pool was nice and refreshing. The path to the beach access was a bit challenging, sand was very deep on path. However we did find another beach access down the road that was alot easier of a walk to the beautiful beach. The beach is beautiful and clean. I would highly recommend this rental.

Incredible place and a world class host! Here’s what I would do next time I’m in the Turks and Caicos, first book at Sea La Vie, get a rental car, book a snorkel/dive trip, do the day pass at Club Med, perhaps ask the host about kite-boarding, but staying at Sea La Vie is the only way to go. The IGA is right up the road… with an Amazing kitchen, this VRBO lets you cook a quick breakfast, then hit the beach. The pool! Wow, the pool, we spent the whole afternoon at the pool, again, with the amazing kitchen, your snacks and beverages are mere seconds away… we needed another week just to use all the amenities (BBQs on the patio, beach chairs, etc)… amazing, simply amazing!

New Years Stay

Great property that was affordable during the holiday weekend. We enjoyed having a peaceful and beautiful beach all to ourselves that was a 5 minute walk from the property. Very nice that beach chairs were provided. Long Bay beach was great, as the waves were very calm so our 3 year old could easily play in the water. We also enjoyed having the outdoor grill for meals. Location is away from the main area but still only a 5 to 7 minute drive. We didn't rent a car, so paid around $20 each way for a taxi to go into the main resort area for dinner one night. Majid was extremely responsive and a great host.

Majid was the most amazing host you could ever ask for! He was easy to communicate with and very kind. We had a TV go out on Christmas Eve and he went out and got us a new one that day!! It was pretty amazing and definitely not expected. But we did appreciate it being it was Christmas Eve and we were planning on watching Christmas movies that night! Everything else was very wonderful, the location is in a quiet neighborhood and about eight minutes from all of the action over on Grace Bay. The description of the properties is spot on. This was our second time to TNC so we sort of knew the lay of the land. You definitely need a car to get to the different beaches when you’re staying in this area, but we wanted to explore and go to the grocery store quite a bit anyway.The only thing I would’ve done personally for myself at this location was bring maybe an extra cozy, warmer blanket, I did love the beach chairs you could use and we definitely utilize those each day! Same with beach towels! Sitting out on the deck for coffee with nice, although there’s plenty of bugs so make sure you do bring bug spray.One more thing just to mention is there’s one washer and one dryer for the entire facility so I just sort of planned for that for our entire trip and it worked out just fine for me because I do know that the units were all full! All in all wonderful stay thank you so much for being such a great host, our trip was amazing and we actually got to relax and have a good time.

We stayed 4 nights in unit 5 and were very happy with the property. It is gated and we felt very safe. The pool is nice, but not heated so it’s a little chilly. The weather wasn’t the best while we were there though, so it might not matter under normal conditions. I don’t think the listing said they had a cooler so we brought a small one to take to the beach. They do have one, so cross that off your packing list. What they did not have is laundry soap, so if you plan to do a load while you’re there, pack a couple of Tide pods. The place was clean and well-stocked for two people. The beach is close, but if you struggle to walk, you won’t be able to navigate the sandy path. The beach is not wide, but also not busy and the water was beautiful. Watching the kite surfers was very cool. I would stay here again if I returned!

Family friendly stay

Family of 3 which included my toddler. Location- 2min walk to the perfect, shallow, no wave, clean beach. There's a daily horseback riding tour that utilize this beach, so it's really nice to see and take photos. Nearby grocery but remember TCI is very expensive. Also not far from Grace Bay Beach. Condo/apartment- Clean, well kept, washer/ dryer (shared use), it's not toddler proof so you have to be vigilant with the edges of furniture (normal in all VRBOs), basic kitchen supply, comfy bed (listed as Queen, but felt like Full). Laundry room: single washer/dryer, during the day it is utilize by staff to flip rooms, but available early morning/ night. But the room is very clean with comfy and well stocked. Pool/ compound: Very clean and tropical. Love the amenities they provide for the kids (life vest/floaties/pool toys etc). Staff is very friendly, willing to help with directions, beach recommendations, house hold supplies etc). Owner- responve and thoroughly laid out all instructions. Overall we absolutely love our time at this villa, and will definitely stay again when visiting TCI.

Quiet & Clean - Just Perfect!

We stayed 5 nights recently at Sea La Vie. The property is on the less busy side of the island, which was perfect for us. The villa was immaculate, large and had everything we needed for our stay! There were "good"(Tommy Bahama) beach chairs and an umbrella we took to the beach every day! The outdoor shower was a plus. Kitchen had ample supplies although we did not cook at all. The walk to the beach on Long Bay is challenging because the sand is deep and it was quite windy. We preferred our beach time at Taylor Bay and Sunset Beach. Check in was smooth and Majid was responsive to some questions we had about where things were located. There were no directions about check out, but that was ok..The Island is expensive and the villa has a drip coffee maker. Bring ground coffee with you! There were some filters which was a nice touch. Fridge/Freezer has a built in ice and water dispenser which was fantastic! We didn't have to buy water once:) Overall, a terrific and quiet stay. We rented a car to get around which was needed! The property is beautiful, convenient and quaint. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Majid..We will definitely be back!

Quaint and Quiet

Majid’s place was cute and quiet. It was certainly off the beaten path from downtown and Grace Bay. You will definitely need a car as there is no taxis available or accessible. Once we rented a car, our trip was great. The unit did not post critical information on site for local attractions, accessibility to taxis, restaurants, hospitals and pertinent information which is important for people coming from out of town. The house itself was nice. It lacked the basics- oven mitts, spray cleaner, ice, hand soap. Bring your own or you will have to buy some there. The grill was rotted and needed a good cleaning. The pool was lovely. Plenty of space, floats and sunshine. Highly recommend spending time there. The beach is a little walk. Be prepared to haul your stuff. There isn’t much room to lay out besides the chairs provided. Beautiful views though. Communication with Majid was good. His maintenance man was onsite and helped us a lot. He fixed our screen door, helped repair the ice maker and gave us a ride to downtown to the grocery store. Turks and Caicos was beautiful. Next time, I would stay closer to Grace Bay where things are I walking distance.

A great place to stay!

Sea La Vie was a fantastic choice for our return trip to Provo! There are many things that make this a great place to stay: it's a gated complex, it's quiet, the rooms are very clean, the shower has plenty of heat, the dual air conditioners work very well, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. Something we didn't expect, but was very appreciated.... Usually when we come to Provo, we buy jugs of drinking water (we still haven't quite got used to the flavour of the water in TCI). This time we were happy to find that the fridge water dispenser filter does an amazing job!! It was equal, if not better than the filtered water we usually buy. The same filter system feeds the ice maker so not having to purchase ice was also a blessing. We also appreciated having access to beach towels and portable beach chairs that we took with us to numerous beaches. Long Bay Beach is beautiful, but it can get windy at times. Of course, that makes it perfect for kite boarding and you'll see many out on the water on a windy day. Unless you are looking for a place you want to stay, just unwind and not go anywhere, you should get a vehicle. We get one every time we visit the islands so the location is not an issue for us. Almost everything you would want or need (groceries, shops, restaurants), is only a short drive away. There are many beaches on the less windy side of the island that are a 10-15 minute drive away. We would gladly stay here again!
